And is it even really suitable for a wedding?

flowerybeanbag · 28/02/2008 14:33

I like it. Is it long? Can't tell from the picture.

flowerybeanbag · 28/02/2008 14:34

I realise that whether I like it was not the question...

But is pertinent to suitable-ness and shoes!

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2008 14:34

ooh, lovely - how about a little shrug with it and some nice satin pointy shoes, green to match if poss, shrug a different colour ?

woodenchair · 28/02/2008 14:35

I like too! Like the length, looks like it's midcalf? so much more flattering that if it was knee length. Sorry no advice on shoes or accessories

sparkleymummy · 28/02/2008 14:35

I think from the picture that its probably calf length??

it is gorgeous and very suitble IMO

id get a pair of gold heels and matching bag

nothing req for shoulders as it will indors

jumpingbeans · 28/02/2008 14:36

Do you still have to ask the bride if it's okay to wear green?,

flowerybeanbag · 28/02/2008 14:39

Gold would be nice. I would still have something for shoulders in April even if mostly indoors.

sparkleymummy · 28/02/2008 14:39

Oh blimey jumpingbeans don't throw that into the equation. Really???? We don't get on so I'd rather not ask her anything!

like these?

tbh id avoid trying to match the green (ie green shoes and bag) unless you buy white and get them professionally dyed (even then youre not guarenteed of a match and itll look crap)

this?

bundle · 28/02/2008 14:42

permission to wear green?

i'd go for shoes a bit chunkier than those tbh. and a wild colour, but that's me, huh

flowerybeanbag · 28/02/2008 14:42

If you don't get on maybe you should wear green...

I've never heard that anyway, I'm sure it's fine.

dont bother with a shrug!!!!!!

the dress is lovely you dont want to cover it up

sparkleymummy · 28/02/2008 14:45

Gold is looking good. Littlelapin I have quite dark skin and long hair which at present is brown due to home colouring bodge job to try to cover up my roots but generally its honey/caramel tones. Green eyes.

LK Bennett have 20 per cent off today only by the way (hence want to buy the dress today!)
