Seriously considering getting this done but feeling nervous. Please can I see yours? Are you pleased with it? Do you regret it?

Thanks everyone! So I’m pretty set on brows, just debating feline eyeliner and lip blush (although I like the more neutral nude tones rather than the pinky ones and an even colour rather than lip line). I’m wondering if it will look weird to wake up with full eyeliner! But then again, it would only look weird for the time it took for me to wash my face and do my hair so maybe not?

For eyeliner, something in between these two pics

Imo that’s way too much? Imagine having eyeliner like that 24/7. In the bath. In bed 😂

Oh wow that is absolutely beautiful work ❤️

I'd be too scared for the full eyeliner (plus have hooded eyelids anyway) but wow it's amazing

You are welcome @astarsheis

Feel free to ask any other questions!

My friend had lips and eyes done. Lips look great - defo worth considering. Eyes less so I think - just a bit too harsh- looking getting top and bottom, imo (and it hurt apparently) - top only would probably look great.

Yes as a spmua I do not offer bottom line eyeliner, though I trained in

Each to their own but I personally do not like how it looks and it can close the eye visually

And I never do work on a face that I personally do not think looks good, as my clients are a walking advertisement for me

Great post. Been thinking about this for ages!! Good to hear from experience rather than reviews that could be fake.

Thanks for your pics.

I'm considering lip blush and eyelash tightline.

SilverCatStripes - if enhancing what we have makes us feel better, that's our perogative!!

PurpleGreenandWhiteAreTheNewPrimaryColours · 15/08/2023 08:45

I would do lip blush as I've had my eyebrows done and that was the next step but I couldn't afford it. Maybe next year

Eyeliner I'm too chicken as if it goes wrong I don't want them messing so close to my eye. Heard of someone who had a bad job done and its very hard to correct

UnderCarraigeWoes · 15/08/2023 08:56

Don't have a permanent flick, as you age it'll droop and look odd.

dkedm15 · 15/08/2023 09:10

I had my eyeliner done and had a top up and IME it wasn't worth it. I wear my eyeliner with a flick but didn't go for her doing it in case it wasn't 'my' flick if that makes sense, so just had top lids done.

It didn't last very long and even when it was freshly healed I still found myself having to do my makeup as if it wasn't even there. The lady I went to has been doing SPMU for years so wasn't a newbie (appreciate different artists might've done a longer lasting job for me but I was that unimpressed by it I didn't bother looking for anyone else) x

That is my only hesitation 😂
I’m not sure about always looking that “done” but the reality is that I wear winged eyeliner every single day, the only time I don’t is when I’m ill or extra stressed.

I had lip blushing and microblading done and it was a HUGE waste of money. The microblading disappeared within five days, despite me following all the after care advice and the lip blushing was pretty much the same. The lips were agony as well. Never again

ZolaBudd · 15/08/2023 10:11

Obviously, that might be your style, but I think every day it might look a bit harsh.

My aunt (who is quite old now!) wore 60s kind of I make up when really I thought it was too hard on her face. Didn’t enhance

Oh no, what a waste of time and money. I wonder if it’s something to do with your skin type? When I last had it done my micro blading lasted about 2 years.

Oh no 😳😞

Did you mention this to your artist ?

A warning word- if you've ever had a cold sore and are having lip blush take an oral anti viral for a few days before and after the process. I didn't do this the first time and ended up more cold sore than mouth for a week. No long term harm done though.

Omg yes to this

I always drill this into my lip clients

If you have a break out straight after them being done it will not only be doubly painful but it will make every bit of colour disappear
