Is this dress too much?

I have just bought this dress and love it! I am thinking of wearing it with a denim jacket and white trainers to fly in at weekend! Or just taken it with me?

The people saying dress denim jacket and white trainers is old fashioned, what is the alternative? I still see this trend everywhere and not really much of anything else so curious what would should be wearing according to the trendsetters

It’s a gorgeous dress and DEFINITELY get it. As an ex Flight Attendant, dress for comfort not style on the plane. The air con will either be Arctic or Saharan. Someone WILL spill something on you. (Probably yourself). Wear leggings or light joggers, a comfy t shirt that you feel good in and bring a warm sweatshirt just in case. (And an extra t-shirt in case you spill coffee) Keep the dress for when you get to your destination. You can wash the smell of “Eau de Recycled Other People” and make yourself feel beautiful. That dress just makes me happy looking at it.

It’s lovely. If you’re off on a nice holiday I wouldn’t waste it on the flight- keep it clean to wear when you get there!

it would be 'too much' on me because I don't do bright colours and I'm not quite 5ft so it would in a puddle on the floor!!

My heart rather sank when I read dress, denim jacket and white trainers too. I know, it’s practical, throw it all on without thinking, but it’s so dull.

The model is 5.10-it would be very long if you're shorter than that....

It’s a gorgeous looking dress. My only concern is it’s 100% polyester. I definitely wouldn’t fly in it, but if you’re happy with the material think it’s fab
