Is this dress too much?

I have just bought this dress and love it! I am thinking of wearing it with a denim jacket and white trainers to fly in at weekend! Or just taken it with me?

It’s fine to fly in. Unless you’re the pilot and then it looks a bit unprofessional.

Would never occur to me that it’s “too much” - too much for what?

I wear dresses like that from Yours etc all the time; I’m wearing a bright maxi one now and all I’m doing today is housework and walking to Tesco and back!

My heart rather sank when I read dress, denim jacket and white trainers too. I know, it’s practical, throw it all on without thinking, but it’s so dull.

Oh for god’s sake. If OP likes it then leave her to it. I’ve been wearing this look less recently but will wear it. Might mix up with eg leather biker jacket.

I love that dress! The denim jacket could be a different color instead of a traditional indigo denim if you want to update the look and satisfy the posters who say it’s out of date 😄

The dress is awesome, I really love it, the colors, the pattern, everything. And it’s very chic and fresh! Enjoy!

I love. Colour is everything to me. Don't care about what others think. I spent nearly 3 decades trying to win my narcissistic mothers approval. If you like it buy it and wesr it.

op, that look is everywhere, so clearly not dated, on the contrary, very current, the dress is lovely and looks comfy, go for it. Also looks like it will dry fast, so if dirty after flight a quick hand wash and it will be good to go again in no time.

Dress, denim jacket and white trainers as a look is dated! As I said doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear it if you like it, and lots of people still do but let’s not try to pretend it’s in fashion

As a disabled woman with chronic pain, the maxi / midair dress, trainers and jacket are perfect for me. I don’t want to start wearing shoes because I’m told my trainers are old fashioned.

Dress, denim jacket are a classic look - it can't date! That's like saying a white t shirt and jeans are dated!
I like the pattern but not sure if it works on a lose fitting dress - I can see it as a shirt though.
