Boden sale - there's literally nothing I'd wear

There's 70% off on the website and I also have £10 off voucher they've sent me. I've gone through every single item and haven't found a single thing I'd buy. The few semi-decent items are so short on the body, and I say this as a short person myself. But who over the age of 19 can wear such cropped items?? And now you have to spend a min of £50 to get free delivery.

Has anyone ordered knitwear from the new collection and if so, is it as short on the body as previously?

It shows how often i look at the Boden website, but when did they stop selling menswear? I can only see 4 items. DH's loafing at home polos are looking a bit ragged.

Lots of striped t shirts for women, though, which I always assumed was summer wear.

I was truly shocked to see JB in that suit and specs- what a prat he looks. hat happened to the blue shirt and chinos look?

I was one of those customers who bought a poacher jacket about 30 years ago (as in the Mail quote.) when they also used ordinary people /customers as models.

Boden became by go-to for basics. I still have a lovely wool coat I bought around 15 years ago.

For years now I've bought next to nothing.

Everything is 'embellished'. A jumper with sparkle, or ruffles, or puffy sleeves or such nonsense, at silly prices.

The colours are usually awful, the patterns ghastly.
Anything that appeals to us original customers sells out in weeks, so they ought to note what we want.

I've now switched to John Lewis for basics- their own brand, Anyday and And/Or.

Complete prat.

That suit is the sartorial equivalent of having a mug on your office desk saying "you don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps"

Did Johnnie mention when he would be making these changes? Just had a look at the 25% off deal and can’t find anything to tempt me.

Hi, previous poster here. I just popped into the Boden website on a cross-your-fingers whim and...we have progress!

Wardrobe mainstay knitwear! Classy winter coats! Adult models, some of whom actually have adult bodies! You can REALLY see the difference between the new season and sale photos.

No idea yet about the quality and sadly still no sign of the return of the cropped cardi (🤞for next Spring) but I've bookmarked several things to think about buying, for the first time in 18+ months.
