Mad to wear saltwaters in Rome?

Just looking at my sandals as off to Rome for a few nights and need versatile as well as comfy. I'm not sure how cobbly/uneven parts of the city might be so want something suitable for lots and lots of walking. Would I be mad to wear saltwater sandals? (Thin soled ones) I find them very comfy but pottering around here isn't necessarily the same as touring Rome. I have tevas but they are less smart for the evening. I have docs but they are quite heavy tbh.
I'd like some sort of slight heel that's stylish and smart yet super comfy. Looking at wedges they all seem very solid soles and too high so I'd be unstable (hypermobile).

Any suggestions welcome!

I have these for summer holidays https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blowfish-Malibu-Womens-Mirenda-Sandal/dp/B09GL712T6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2OMLOAV67G3UI&keywords=blowfish%2Bmalibu%2Bsandals&qid=1690023879&sprefix=Malidu%2Bsa%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-1&th=1

Haven’t worn them in Rome, but I’ve done Dubrovnik and Split in them, and they are mostly slippery cobbles underfoot. They’re cool and comfy, I love them.

Theses Skechers Bobs are the most comfortable sandals. I walked for miles everyday for 2 weeks in mine last year. They were so comfy I bought 2 other colours, and am eyeing up another pair.
Sometimes Amazon have them on offer. Or sign up to Skechers and get a discount and free delivery. https://www.skechers.co.uk/bobs-desert-kiss---secret-picnic/33386.html

The other sandals I find extremely comfortable are my Karrimore (I bought mine in Sports Direct).

Meant to add, there's no way I could wear my Saltwaters around Rome!

Have got cushioned saltwaters but they're bright blue so not sure if they'll go with everything....trying my best to pack light! I'll prob end up taking more shoes than anything else at this rate!

The most important thing is comfort. If your feet are sore it will ruin your holiday. When you are there you really won’t care if your sandals go with your outfit.

You will be surrounded by tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world, no one will notice what you wear.

I wear my SW in ROme. Super comfortable. The worst shoes (for me) are anything with a heel - even tiny wedges I turn my ankle (I have weak ankles). Plus then you can dunk your feet into the many nasone - water fountains - dotted around Rome to cool off!!

I have worn Saltwaters (originals - thin sole) round cities like Paris. I also have Swimmers (cushioned version of classic) and wear for really long walks or rough terrain.

The other footwear I can walk miles in is Reef Ginger flip flops - they have arch support, toe strap and are like slippers. I find them far more comfy for tough terrain or cobbles than trainers.
