Bra for floppy breasts

I had rather depressing session at M&S looking for new bras yesterday. I’m 44, my breasts are floppy and most of the tissue is below the nipples IYSWIM. My skin is wrinkly when they’re pushed up.

I’m definitely a 32D but where the heck do I get a non-ugly supportive bra that fits well?

One thing I hate about a lot of bras is that the strap often comes up from the outer side of the bra cup, meaning its right on the edge of your shoulders. If you have no shoulders or very sloping ones like me, they just constantly fall off

Some designs have the strap coming up from the more centre of the cup which is more comfortable

If it's any help, bravissimo do T back converters to stop straps doing this. Might save a bra from the bin Grin

Yes and on another thread someone recommended some clips you can get on Amazon to pull them together

My current saddo bras which Ive been wearing for decades and luckily have stayed the same all those years (bestform soft cotton non wired) have the straps quite close in so I dont need it but I really do need to get something different soon, the way these are going Im going to be kicking them along soon.

I have "tennis balls in socks" type breasts. I've found that plunge brass work really well. My go-to is the Porcelain Elan Plunge Bra.

I love Bravissimo, the fitters are excellent and I have always left with the most beautiful and well fitting bras I've ever worn. Last purchase was a couple of Fusion bras and a Rhiannon. M&S bras just don't fit me properly. I'm definitely going to check out Elomi bras now as recommended by others, but the beauty of Bravissimo is their fitting service and choice of beautiful bras. Can't be doing with mail order when it comes to bras, it's difficult enough to find the perfect fit

I wouldn't go for Marks personally. Try Bravissimo or JL for measuring.

I find Marks sizing and fit wildly different (and less flattering) than most other stores

Also here to add Bravissimo sorted me out after breast feeding! I thought I was doomed to saggy boobs forever but they make them look great again! Definitely worth the investment

Bravissimo. My breasts are also floppy and soft so any type of half cup or plunge or balconette is no good - I just fall out of them. I wear several different types = soft for home, underwired for work/out. And Bravissimo was the place.

I'm a similar shape (albeit a very different size) and I have found that plunge bras give me the best shape. Pre-dc I loved balconette style, but now they tend to present my oldies as a flattish jiggle in a tray.

This has been my favourite for several years: www.bravissimo.com/products/satine-bra-au15/#champagne-au15nu

Google Chidera Eggerue. She's a legend! She started a campaign called "Saggy boobs matter"! She said she did it as when she went to M&S to try on bras she felt her body shape wasn't catered for and generally in society by being underepresented it makes you feel different to everyone when in reality millions of people have a similar physique and it's normal and desirable. Chidera also did a feel good documentary on Channel 4 I think about body positivity including people growing their pubic hair. This was deep and profound rather than for shock value. So many people see pubic hair as a shameful/disgusting/embarrassing thing when it's nature so I don't get it and I really appreciate her confronting this BS. Anyway I hope you find suitable bras!
