If money was no object, what dress would you buy?

I would buy a Double J Long and Sassy dress but can't quite justify almost £1000. They are so beautiful.

Prices aren't comparable to some of the things mentioned by PP but I recently discovered Farm Rio thanks to mentions on here and I would LOVE something from there. Probably if money were no object I'd get something gorgeous in beautiful fabric made for me by a seamstress.

I love love love this. Have been mooning over this for months. Had I an occasion to wear it, I would have bought it.

@CallMeMousie Tried that Reformation dress on. Large to size and the fabric is really scratchy. Not worth the money at all.

If an old person is permitted an opinion here, and I love all the links and pictures, La Double J would feature big time. The colours and shapes don't demand a supermodel physique, although they obviously would look fabulous on. But they would also look wonderful for ordinary life. For me, 67, still loves clothes, I would splurge on Succession stealth luxury and comfort, rather than look-at-me occasion wear, that I wouldn't.

Thanks for all your amazing dresses. @WildFlowerBees I am currently somewhere where there are the most amazing and reasonably priced dressmakers who can copy anything and turn it around in a day. Which is why I need inspiration! I can get a copy of my favourite DoubleJ dress made in beautiful silk for $85! Looking for potential ideas for something else as I have a big birthday coming up!
