I just want a plain, white, v neck T-shirt or scoop neck - where have you found decent one?

Thought M and S would be a no brainer for a basic like this but apparently only crew necks are IN this year. Only found one v neck and it was thinner than a Boris Johnson excuse. Need one that isn't clingy too. Please help!

I just got a great v neck one from Rag and Bone in a sale. Online from Jules B.

Quite a few plain v neck Tee's in Zara - fabric is on the thin side but not clingy and a few different ones to choose from.

John Lewis linen V neck.

I was just on River Island today and they have nice v neck t shirts. M&S used to have a great range of t shirts, now they look cheap and smell horrible. Try Sainsburys too. I've had a few Asda ones for dog walking and they wash well and are hard wearing. I love a plain white t shirt, I will have a look at the suggestions above too. Are Next ones still as good quality?

SockGoddess · 15/06/2023 16:13

Hush have nice ones and plenty of V-necks. Also try Arket.

I agree with you, there are way too many t-shirts that have tiny, high crew necks. They look awful on me and they're not very summery and cool either.

LookUpTonight · 15/06/2023 16:15

I’ve got a few of the Next ones and they’re great. They do come up big though.

All of them show my bra. I am not busty and don't wear heavy duty bras. Might have to go Cos.

CatfoodOzymandias · 15/06/2023 16:17

Wow £50 for a NRBY tshirt. I like Rapanui but their white is still see through.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 15/06/2023 16:22

I've been buying my tee shirts from Suoerdry recently, via Next. V neck, not too baggy but not clingy . I think they are a cotton/model mix. The white one isn't see through.

AlligatorPsychopath · 15/06/2023 16:25

My favourite white v-neck boxy cut tee is from Kin at John Lewis. It's a staple for them.

Thanks. I was considering Superdry. The fit seems just right, not boxy but not skin tight.

I've just brought 3 from h&m fitted with cap sleeves, you could size up for a less fitted fit, I brought med, I'm a 10/12

WoofWoofBeachLife · 16/06/2023 07:22

Whoever said Next cheers m'dear, they have some lovely stuff in, I've ordered a few bits. I don't know why I haven't been in for a while.

The Matalan one has viscose in it. Keep t shirts cotton!
