Nothing special. Just regular old pants and socks. Ones that last ok if tumbled. I'm fed up of continually buying

I wear Wirapa boxers from Amazon.
Uniqlo for invisible trainer socks and Happy Feet socks from TK Maxx for boot socks

GeriKellmansUpdo · 02/06/2023 16:30

Gave up on M and S pants because gussets too narrrow for my peri-menopausal napkins. Now alternate between Wirapa and John Lewis.
Socks still M and S mostly.

TheKobayashiMaru · 02/06/2023 16:30

M&S. Good quality and reliable.

Fandabedodgy · 02/06/2023 16:32

Tesco sometimes Asda

WTF is a "peri-menopausal napkin"?

I am peri-menopausal, not finding my gussets need to be stuffed with items normally used at a dining table!!

GeriKellmansUpdo · 02/06/2023 17:18

Lol. Sanitary napkin. Pads. Whatever you want to call them.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/06/2023 17:20

M&S for pants (used to like Debenhams).
Most of my recent sock acquisitions have been Bridgedale of various types. I don't tumble dry them, they don't take much room on a rack to air dry.

Topseyt123 · 02/06/2023 17:22

M & S mostly for pants although I have occasionally bought some in Tesco.

Socks I just get as multipack deals in sports shops.

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 02/06/2023 17:22

Primark and Tesco mainly. I'm still wearing primark socks I bought as a teen. They were better quality then though.

Sloggi knickers are fab. I don't buy cotton socks. Got fed up with the constant holing, buy wool socks now.

I agree Sloggi's are great .

I tend to get my socks and knickers from Primark / George , I have got to stop buying cheap socks though my feet sweat like buggery in them .

Fanny dish towel?

DeathMetalMum · 02/06/2023 17:29

Socks - any supermarket, generally when I see some on offer/reduced.

Pants mixture of M&S for 'fancy' ones and supermarket. I got some good ones from Morrisons this time last year (we were on holiday and I had underpacked). Keep meaning to go back and get some more.

Can I add, where do people get their bras from? Not particularly busty but want something that is flattering, I feel like I have a lot back fat issues and generally just not great. Probably need to get measured again, although also don't know where to do that?

cormorant5 · 02/06/2023 17:45

John Lewis for everyday undies. The few socks I buy are Any Sale bargains.
JL version of Sloggi boy shorts are good.

GeriKellmansUpdo · 02/06/2023 17:46

Bras are very individual, I think. M and S and H and M work for me, but I am quite small busted.
You can get measured at Bravissimo.

Hollister racer back bras.
I have small crap boobs and they give a bit of lift but are v comfy.
Topped up with Primark bralets.

I have very small bust but very wide back as I'm fat but the weight doesn't go to my boots. I've recently discovered Bonprix cater to very wide backs. Still trying to find the right style but its free returns.

TheFlis12345 · 02/06/2023 11:21

M&S. I usually stock up when they have a good Sparks offer.

Me too. Vests as well.

INeedAnotherName · 02/06/2023 17:53

*boobs, not boots.

It tried to auto correct to books this time Confused

orangeclubsarebest · 02/06/2023 17:55

Last pants I bought were Sainsbury’s and last socks were Primark.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 02/06/2023 17:56

Pants - Sloggi or British Boxers
Bras - Fantasie
Socks - many places, but not BAM, they don't last 2 minutes. Sainbury's. But men's. I have big feet.

Pigtailsandall · 02/06/2023 17:58

I buy bras at Bravissimo as their measuring service is usually great. However, last time I felt like they got my sizing wrong and they insisted I was 34 when in reality the bra felt a bit big. I'm glad I only bought 1 item but I'll be a bit more careful in the future. Up until then, they have been great.

Not sure why m&s gets so much love here, I personally find their quality quite poor, and whoever upthread said that their gussets are small omg thats so true! They are so uncomfortable to wear.

Jedstre · 02/06/2023 18:04

Wirapa from Amazon for pants. Lovely thick cotton. A million times better than M&S. I don’t wear socks that often but trainer socks from Primark are brilliant

RausageSoul · 02/06/2023 18:34

TK Maxx for socks! Usually have good brand multipacks for great price. Primark for seamless pants

SweetPetrichor · 02/06/2023 18:53

Amazon - Innersy for pants.
Any supermarket for socks.
