Am I just being stupid- boohoo jumpsuit

Has anyone got this jumpsuit from boohoo? If so how on earth do you put it on?🙈
The straps of the jumpsuit are stitched onto the top. Am I meant to cut the stitches? Maybe the sun has went to my head but I really can't figure out how to get it on 🙈🙈

I'm so glad my post is making so many people giggle 😂😂
I have contacted boohoo and they emailed back and they apologised for the fault and to send photos. I will actually die if they reply and say that the design is right as that would mean i'm just too wide to get the t shirt over my bum 😂😂

I don't think you should need to get the tshirt over your bum though. Roll the base of the tshirt up towards the sleeves. Step into the legs of the jumpsuit through the gap below the tshirt. The tshirt will end up hanging in front of your tummy. Bend forward, stick your hands in the bottom of the tshirt and pull it over your head.

And hope you don't need someone to cut you out cos you've got stuck!

It really wouldn't surprise me if, in their frenzy to churn out fast fashion, Boohoo had designed a completely unwearable garment.

I got a jumpsuit from boohoo and there was no opening at all in it. So it was like a top and culottes all in one type of thing and I'd ordered 2 different sizes in it and both had no opening or zip and the only way was to step into the neck which wouldn't go past my shins 🙈 ichecked every seam for a hidden zip and couldn't find any in either of them. I emailed them and they just said oops must be faulty and send them both back 🤷‍♀️ and they didn't have anymore in either size. I was very disappointed.

This is the email I got back from them. I don't really understand it so i'm just going to return it, gutted as I really liked it.

There's a simple solution - the person who typed that email is a moron! I suggest you return it and ask them to send you a video of them trying it on. In the mean time, get a friend to buy you another one, and see if they send you a properly made one this time!

This is the email I got back from them. I don't really understand it so i'm just going to return it, gutted as I really liked it.

@Minnie123456 I ordered a couple of sizes of this. They were delivered on Friday (June 2nd) and the one I have tried on is two pieces, the t-shirt is very short, just long enough for what it is meant for.

I'll have a look at the other size and see if that is also in two pieces, it may just be that you were unlucky and if you ordered a replacement you might actually be able to put it on! (Or perhaps I was lucky with a 'faulty' garment that wasn't stitched together?)

Yeah I’d imagine customer services aren’t running round trying to find this item or asking the designers. Common sense would be if this customer cuts the item they can’t be refunded, so she can’t tell you to cut it.

@weirdoboelady I don't understand what the email actually means.

Unfortunately I can't reorder as there are none left in my size ☹️ i'm just going to see if I can gey another one somewhere else. If any one has any suggestions please let me know, preferably petite as i'm 5ft 3.

The other is in two parts - in fact the t-shirt was folded and sitting on top of the jumpsuit bit!

I don't understand why you say the t-shirt won't go over your bum. Surely once you've stepped into the legs like dungarees, the tshirt is hanging in front of you and you sort of bend into it. Weird. Unpleasing. But the tshirt wouldn't go anywhere near your bum

@jajajajaja a few posters suggested stepping into the neck of the t shirt and pull it and the jumpsuit over my bum that's why I said it wouldn't go over it. The t-shirt doesn't stretch enough for you to bend into it. A pp has received 2 of these jumpsuits and neither had the t-shirt and jumpsuit sewn together so mine is obviously faulty.

@Ericabro no the straps off the jumpsuit are sewn onto the shoulders of the t shirt, the stitching is right through to the inside of the t shirt so no way of getting it off.

They do a dress and T-shirt 2 in 1 version of this jumpsuit. It would make sense for the T-shirt to be attached to the dress, so I’m assuming it’s been attached to the jumpsuit in error. Otherwise there’s no way to actually get it on

Given how cheap t shirts are, if you haven't sent it back would it be worth just cutting the t shirt out and buying one to go with the main jumpsuit bit? Better still, negotiate with them - if it's the last one in this size, they should do you a discount!

You just need to unpick the stitches holding the straps to the t- shirt. They are 'to be snapped' as the email says - though that email is very badly written.
