Does anyone have experience of how long this tales to actually have an effect on acne? Asking for my daughter who has just started it as a last resort. She can't take roaccutane so that's a hard no. She's tried everything up till now and nothing has worked, although spironolactone worked for a while and then stopped. She's only 19 and it's really getting her down.

@Ansumpasty I use Bronsons 200mg but I’ve had other brands and not noticed much difference. 200 mg is definitely better than the lower ones though

Thanks so much! I’ve just ordered it :) I’m so desperate. I’m 37 and my skin has never been so bad. It’s so oily, so I hope this still works for me as I’m guessing my androgens are high

@Ansumpasty id be interested to know how you get on. It’s been fantastic for me. I’ve never really thought herbal supplements did much but dim has totally changed his mind

I will report back :) I’m at my wits end with it. I’d qualify for accutane and spiro and certainly antibiotics, but really don’t want these for other health reasons. Duac isn’t cutting it, so I know it must be hormonal at this point.

Worked really well for me. 100% recommend!

All acne’s hormonal though isn’t it?

It worked for me until it gave me migraines and I’m contraindicated for life now. I took isotretonoin for 16 weeks in the end.
