Padded bralettes for the totally flat-chested?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding have left my once very-small-but-at-least-existent boobs as tiny folds of skin with nipples on. I’m trying to respect and be grateful for my body but I need some help…

No idea of my size now (or really before) but my old bras still still around the rib cage and they’re 30.

I want comfort but also some shape under clothes, so I think padding is essential. Ideally nothing too high at the front so I can wear low necks. And preferably something I can buy online and be reasonably confident it will fit, as the thought of trying things on in a changing room fills me with horror.

Any recommendations for the boobless, please?

Sloggi zero feel are great !

Years ago A page three girl recommended ultimo to me when I was smaller chested. They were fantastic in shape and comfort Obviously they’ve gone bust (no pun intended!) but boux avenue and wonder bra now do the gel bras that ultimo did.

The M and S Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ones have a good selection of padded/inner shelf type bras

Abracadabra12345 · 25/05/2023 22:40

Max Cleavage specialise in padded / gel bras and could be worth looking into. They're an online company

8008less · 25/05/2023 22:42

Thanks all. Definitely prefer the idea of the comfortable sloggi-type thing than a gel push up bra, mainly because I literally have nothing to push up! No underwire would be ideal.

Should probably add, the asda one looked super comfy, really soft cups, really low at the front and no wiring. Just had a read of the reviews and they're mostly great.

8008less · 25/05/2023 22:46

Thanks @ScorpioSphinx it does look more comfortable than I’d expected from the name! Not sure of my size though and 32 is the smallest band.

There’s always the Victoria secret add two cups bombshell bras

NightOwlNotEarlyBird · 26/05/2023 01:07

I really like Boody bralettes... But then I found ones from Tesco, 2 pack for £14 which are comfortable and wash well. They have the removable cups so a little bit of padding for shape.

Tiddlywinkly · 26/05/2023 01:58

Sloggi all the way. I ditched wired bras in lockdown and haven't looked back, but I need padding!

8008less · 26/05/2023 07:24

@Tiddlywinkly any particular Sloggi one?

I’ve had a mastectomy on one side and the Sloggi zero feel one makes me even as the padding is good (helps that I have virtually nothing the other side). Also so comfy as I can’t tolerate wires !

tigerbear · 26/05/2023 08:40

Saw slightly padded non under wired ones in Primark the other day, and DD got some. Two for about £5 I think.

pharmachameleon · 28/05/2023 21:43

Just resurrecting this thread as I saw it on Mumsnet Swears By. Which Sloggi bra is most padded does anyone know? I'm completely flat chested too and don't mind wearing restricting padded underwire bras for dress up occasions but looking for a softer option for other times. I need padding though as I'm flat as a pancake 😂

I recommend Ellesse bralets, I have 4 bought from ASOS. They fit my flat chest very snugly without gaping or flattening and have decent padding that gives a nice shape. They are comfy, stretchy and smooth like sports bras but have several lower cut styles with skinny spaghetti straps that you can wear under a low cut top or vest. And they are cheap!

pharmachameleon · 29/05/2023 06:35

Thanks I'll check these out

Silkysifaka · 29/05/2023 17:00

Definitely sloggi zero feel bralette. So comfy. I found the lighter coloured ones ended up quickly discoloured so I now stick to black. I also had one go at the seams a week or so after buying and Sloggi’s customer service was atrocious trying to get a refund, so I would buy from a department store rather than from sloggi website.

pharmachameleon · 30/05/2023 10:44

Great thanks. There are loads of different types of bras on the Sloggi website and I was getting confused!

GMsAWinner · 30/05/2023 17:53

Haven't tried them myself, but M&S do braletts. Obviously you can chose your size and try on at home/fitting room, but the ladies who measure in our local store are lovely and will do their best to get a really good fit for you. You don't have to take your bra/top off and they make you feel totally comfortable, telling you a bra gives you a good shape, looks nice on you, your choice is ideal for whatever. Myself and DD don't have much of a bust, but I always come away feeling good about myself.

pharmachameleon · 30/05/2023 21:00

Thanks @GMsAWinner Are the M&S bralettes padded though? I really need padding to give me some shape!

pharmachameleon · 30/05/2023 21:33

These look great thanks @SnuggleBuggleBoo

8008less · 03/06/2023 22:47

To the people who suggested Sloggi zero feel bralettes: THANK YOU. They are actually life-changingly comfortable. Wow.
