The sun is finally out, yay, and I want to start wearing shorts and dresses but I’m looking so white. Please could you recommend a natural looking fake tan? I’m a light/medium skin tone with a cool undertone.

I have used Skinny Tan in the past and it worked well.

LynetteScavo · 21/05/2023 08:48

Dove Deena spa summer revived body mousse was recommended on here the other day. I bought some, and the first application didn't show l, so I junges a load more on in a slow dash way before I got into bed last night, and im quite impress with the results this morning.

Booksandwine80 · 21/05/2023 09:21

Bondi sands foam is my go to.

Doggymummar · 21/05/2023 09:24

I Have Bondi Sands dark so I assume they have a light one but am currently using st Tropez as it was half price on Amazon.

TinyBarista · 21/05/2023 09:26

I use Bondi Sands gradual tan, use it daily or every other day instead of / with my normal moisturiser and no need to wash off. Smells nice too!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 21/05/2023 09:27

St tropez original mousse

seasidegirl83 · 21/05/2023 09:28

Bondi sands is great. Very natural. The gradual tanner and the foam both go on really nicely.

Heartbreaktuna · 21/05/2023 15:33

I have very Celtic pale skin. I like the vita liberata gradual tan. I've tried countless others but they all turn orange on me.

Dressshelp · 21/05/2023 15:35

I use either bondi sands dark, or skinny tan. Also, I don’t know if there’s a Tanning Shop near you, but their spray tan in dark is also really natural and goes on really well.

HowBeOn · 21/05/2023 18:19

St Tropez face mist for face and mousse for body. I’m pale AF and swear by this.

tolerable · 21/05/2023 18:42

st tropez(mousse)-light

GetDownkeith · 21/05/2023 18:45

Binding sands is absolutely idiot proof. I only use the light not its tanned enough for me.
It goes on so easily and streak free.
I am a slap it on and hope for the best kind of tanner and it alway looks great.
I use the spray on liquid one.

catsaremylife · 21/05/2023 19:07

I use gradual tan (Dove or Garnier)

Silky12 · 21/05/2023 21:27

Thanks everyone. I ended up buying some Isle of Paradise drops. I haven’t used them yet, they arrive tomorrow. If I go orange I might try the Bondi Sands one that do many of you have suggested

For a cheap one, I use Palmer's cocoa butter gradual tan. One pump per leg after a shower and it gives a lovely natural looking tan. Plus it smells like chocolate!

insatiableme · 21/05/2023 22:42

Bondi sands is a really natural looking tan and doesn't have the fake tan smell some have

Welshgal85 · 21/05/2023 22:48

Tan Luxe is really good and comes in lots of different ways - serums, cream, sprays

NoSun · 21/05/2023 22:55

Gradual tan, palmers cocoa butter or skinny tan are my favourites.
I find gradual tanners more natural looking and doesn’t seem to stain bedding or clothes.

Would this work well for a pale red-head?

Heartbreaktuna · 22/05/2023 13:23

@LittleEsme yes. I apply twice a week all year round. I've had people genuinely surprised when I tell them I'm actually so pale naturally that I'm almost ethereal.

NunoEspíritoSanto · 22/05/2023 13:28

I'm another celtic skin here. Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk is amazing.

Does anyone remember Xen Tan? I really miss it!

imapterodactyl · 22/05/2023 13:30

St tropez gradual tinted tanner is good for an instant colour that develops overnight. I did two coats over the last couple of days and I've turned a decent shade. I'm also pale and practically see through so can't do deep tans.

Bogggle · 22/05/2023 13:48

I also use Bondi Sands but I alternate between the lotion and the aero mousse

NunoEspíritoSanto · 22/05/2023 18:25

I've just applied Bondi Sands.

Then ate spaghetti very messily 😂

I'm going to have a streaky tan chin 😭 I have a terribly sore shoulder so I struggled feeding myself

FeelingRidiculousBut · 22/05/2023 20:34

Those of you recommending Bondi Sands, can you share which one you've used (lotion or mousse) and maybe which one is the most foolproof?
