I've decided I quite like the look of these (please ignore if you don't like them - I don't care).

Does anybody have them?

Are they comfortable?

What's the sizing like?

Thank you. :)

I have them and I'm mid 30s Blush
I love mine and size is TTS / runs large
I have used mine for 2 summers and I think they are a bit battered now so probably due a replacement

Big reductions online today, which is why I've gone for it! Grin

I've had a pair for several years, at least 6 or 7, maybe more. Very comfortable and pretty much indestructible. Good arch support and the straps don't rub.
I bought a second pair in pink when they were much reduced, for when the first blue pair wore out, but they haven't worn out yet.
They'll probably outlast me!

Doggymummar · 06/05/2023 19:14

Yep me too!

Do you feel better now?

In what way? You're maybe too young to remember then, they were super fashionable in the 70s. I had red yellow and navy so comfortable. Wish they still made them.

Xanadu58 · 06/05/2023 19:17

I've got 2 pairs of tourist sandals. I'm usually a 6 but the 5.5 are perfect . They're very comfortable.

XBealtaine · 06/05/2023 19:18

I like them. If they were birkenstocks people would love on them, I like that these have big buckles and are a bit elevated.

Sorry, Doggy.

I assumed you were one of the, 'They look like something my gran would wear' brigade of ageist pains in the arse that appear on so many of these threads.

@Xanadu58 Maybe I should have sized down. Oh well. Will see - can always change the size if needed, I suppose.

I'm an 8 wide or a 9 in Hotter. I bloody love their sandals - so damn comfy! Anything else shreds my feet.

I did worry about the styling a little to begin with but then spotted a friend's very into fashion teenager wearing some, so I no longer care.

motherofawhirlwind · 06/05/2023 22:40

(and I am usually an 8 wide, so I'd say TTS)

rebekahnorris · 07/05/2023 07:46

I have two pairs. They are soooo comfortable. Sizing is your normal size. Last ages too without looking worn. X

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/05/2023 08:25

Looking forward to trying them. Really hope they work for me.

I had these in black I lived them! They're great I could walk miles in them I got the wide fitting but my feet are definitely wide.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/05/2023 12:43

Just picked them up. I have very narrow feet and have had to fasten the standard fitting on the tightest hole, but they look good imo and I’m hoping they will be comfortable.

Thanks for the update.

Yes brilliant sandals

I used to buy the narrow fitting but they have stopped making them in narrow

woodhill · 13/05/2023 14:13

My 20 something dds wear them too as they have slim feet

KirstenBlest · 13/05/2023 14:13

They look fine to me. Just the job for summer

woodhill · 13/05/2023 14:14

They look lovely

Annoyingly Hotter stopped making them in narrow as those would have been good for you

KirstenBlest · 13/05/2023 14:15

As feet go, you have feet that look good in sandals. Many don't --including me-.-.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 13/05/2023 14:16

When I was in healthcare I wore hotter, nothing more comfy & I was a podiatrist.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/05/2023 14:35

Thanks everyone. Yes, it's a shame they don't do the slim fit now, but I think these will be okay. My only worry is that I feel like the leather might rub a bit on my big toes, but hopefully if they're tightly fastened there won't be much wriggle room for rubbing.

They look very practical <diplomatic >. Lots of buckles.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/05/2023 00:15

Exactly 4 buckles. It means they actually fit.
