Easy pull on trousers that are as comfortable as pyjama bottoms but can be worn out of the house without looking like a mess

I love pulling on a pair of trackies or pj bottoms and would love a pair that I can wear out of the house with either flats in the summer or converse/trainers in the spring. Something easy but not frumpy, if such a thing exists! I tried some from Toast last year and they looked like clown trousers 🤷‍♀️

I buy a variety of M&S for this - there are yoga type waisted ones that can be pulled on but material is soft and thick and I sleep in them and then go on the school run.

My go-to when craving comfort are Next tapered leggings. They come in every pattern and colour imaginable (I've got lots of them as I use some for yoga, some for round the house and a couple of pairs are nice enough for Friday at work - they look quite stylish with a long-sleeve TShirt and body warmer. Cool in summer and warm in winter 👍

I bought three pairs of jersey trousers from M&S. Two tapered, one straight leg - different kinds will look good on different people.
