Thank you @EnoBaby yes we are having perfect weather, 24° and glorious sunshine! Having a lazy afternoon eating tapas, drinking beer and now back to the hotel to lounge around the pool.

It’s pretty cold here but we’ve got guests and I’m staying in so I have a bit more freedom to wear spring clothes.

Sorry for my absence! Been wearing paint covered old leggings and tops the past couple of weeks, it's been all DIY and moving the whole house around.

Actually put some proper clothes on tonight. Boden cashmere cardigan, Trespass cord pinafore dress, Icebreaker merino top, Falke cotton tights.

But new bedroom is painted and making progress, we went for a pale green and dusky pink combination. No bed frame in there yet, but the new mattress arrived so we are sleeping on it on the floor for now after a week on the sofabed.

When we moved it we found out our old bed frame was broken, now we're trying to decide what to get to replace it. Expensive decision so want time to consider it. Wood frame or divan, not decided yet.

It's much smaller than our old bedroom upstairs, but is the only room in the house with an en-suite and we're trying to keep the clutter out. I feel very posh, never had an en-suite before, feels like I'm in a hotel room!

it’s cold! DH is off to Hertfordshire for work tomorrow and meeting old friends today( we used to live there). His temps are expected to be 20. Ours 13!

Popping into town after breakfast. It’s lovely and mild today. Dress from All Saints with DM blaire sandals. Thin linen duster coat over the top, can’t remember where from.

Went to see Strictly ballroom yesterday and met a friend for lunch. Fab..u..lous! Trousers Tesco, blouse Gap. Forgot photo. Casual today as we're bringing ds and all his stuff back from university.

We actually have sunshine here today!

@Sooverthemill I went for a 12 as I am currently losing weight to try and get back to a 10 (90% of my clothes are 10's!), and glad I did as the waist is quite high and quite snug I think. OH says the jeans are baggy round the bum, but I quite like them a looser fit.

I struggle with jeans these days - the fit, the comfort, knowing what style is right!
Jobs today - so in trusty Breton and some Patagonia trousers which I generally only wear for long hikes. But having worn them last week on tour up Pen-y-Fan, and being reminded how comfy they are, I think I'll wear them more often at home! I also like their cut a lot.
