Dressed super fast today so I can sit on the floor next to old dog who can’t stand up. Very alarming as he had his monthly pain injection yesterday. Waiting for the vet surgery to open at 8. Wish me luck

Thanks everyone. Old dog update: it’s the beginning of the end. Extra pain meds today by injection ( ketamine) and an unlicensed pain med daily to add in by mouth. Vet says he is losing so much muscle that his back end is going ( hence increased incontinence). He said he didn’t want to be negative but although he wouldn’t advise putting him to sleep today he thinks we need to go day by day now. But I think the vet has forgotten that my boy is immortal. Surely? 14 and a half is good I know but he is the best dog. But he can barely hold himself up now so that is very sad

in other news I clearly spend too much money on Sézane as I got sent a free gift today to celebrate the launch of their cosmetics

So sorry to hear about your dog @Sooverthemill, it's heartbreaking when they deteriorate, they really are a part of the family. 14 is indeed a very impressive age and he will no doubt have had a very happy life in your household.

Looking gorgeous in lilac @toucaninjapan, which shoes did you wear with that outfit?

@HorribleHisTories15 I've been in London which feels positively tropical compared to the north of England - that coupled with the amount of running around that I do when I go on these work trips mean that summer clothes fitted the bill perfectly. Now back up north and freezing so back to knitwear!

Ha! Bless you @faffadoodledo . The luxury/ punishment of often working from home means that my footwear has been sadly neglected. The school run only necessitates warm and waterproof footwear. Ooh, cute dress @Greyhairwarmheart. Glorious day here in central Scotland - PurplecatDog Junior and I had a lovely walk earlier. I had my dog walking boots/clothes on for that, lol. Now it’s a wee slip dress from ASOS and Mary Janes from Matches.

Today I went to a Joh. Lewis and had a quick unscheduled session with a stylist to help be find an outfit for Chelsea. This is the result. Dress from Thought, jacket by Hobbs. I leaned a new trick too - that a great dress os one you can wear as a skirt too, with a sweatshirt on top. And you, @EnoBaby have just demonstrated that perfectly I think!
