Today is an everything from Zara day, really looking forward to putting the winter boots away, hopefully not long now....

Balloon jeans/trousers will definitely suit you @Cardigansalltheway. I'm only 5'1 too and you look narrower through the hip than I am so they will hang just right.

Love that jumpsuit @OublietteBravo - travelling for work! Not done that for a while myself either! Forgot to take a pic so this is me in the Ladies at work, lol. Leather skirt from Aligne and jumper from Karen Millen. Not sure if the shoes are visible in this pic but they are turquoise sling backs from Casadei that I love.

DD’s birthday today. She’s 24 and has been ill and unable to leave her bed for almost 10 years. Heartbreaking . hoping to have a quiet but nice time today

wearing the hot off the needles test knit I finished yesterday. A test knit is where you knit a brand new pattern for the designer to smooth out any wrinkles in it. This was perfect and very fast. I’m making a Second!

@Sooverthemill, happy birthday to your DD, sorry to hear she's been so ill, it must have been really hard for you all. Adore the t-shirt. I love merino and silk together and in green it looks amazing. I have a couple of merino silk polo necks from Engel and they are lovely to wear. You are so talented.

Isn't it funny how tastes change? I didn't like yellow for years and now I can't seem to get enough of it, currently have my eye on a lemon yellow coat....

Topshop rain coat (BNWT) it’s meant to be a six however I can literally wrap it round my body so safe to say that it’s more than a six), animal print scarf, leather bag and Boss lambs wool cardigan all charity shop buys.

River Island stripe top, Primark baseball boots and Primark straight leg jeans all bought new.

Love your yellow outfit. I am exactly the same about yellow, love it now. I bought a yellow wool coat in the sales at the end of winter but have decided to save it for next winter, something to look forward to when the weather gets cold in the Autumn.

The ballet school drama was really something, I went to post on the whole story somewhere for the expat community to see and beware, and not even one person on the comments was on the school's side lol. This was all very strange indeed!
On the plus side, I contacted one of my ballroom teachers, and she said she's been wanting to launch a kids class for some time already, so she's created a new class based on our preferred time & day of the week. DD is for now the only student there and it's basically a private class for the price of a group class. I hope some other kids will eventually join too though! I didn't plan on introducing DD to the ballroom this early, but oh well. Sometimes you just have to trust where life takes you. Maybe we will try with ballet once more when she turns 3, we have another ballet school nearby, but we'll have to see how it goes.
