Well Paris is very French! It’s so lovely wandering around and remembering everything. It’s chilly so am well wrapped up even for our dinner last night in the bistro next door ( packed to the gills with locals on a Monday). Today is a General Strike for transport so probably walking everywhere.

You are right - it's not the point of this thread . But I am wondering why you would think that where someone lives would impact on how poorly they were with Covid and how long their recovery period would be to get back on track in their normal life ?

DH and I took a day off to do some paperwork at the tax office. We made a booking beforehand, had all the papers ready and still ended up spending 2.5 hours there! 😵

Those jeans are a beautiful colour @Puddinandpie . They are screaming spring to me too. Forgot to take a photo yesterday. I wore Zara top and a knitted wool skirt.

Happy imbolc. Hopefully spring is on its way. Although it doesn’t feel like it. Mostly because we have no heating in the office today (perhaps it is on strike).

Well Paris is fun! The general strike meant we walked 32000 steps yesterday and my feet hurt. We walked and museumed and ate a fantastic menu degustation at a very trendy place last night. Simply heaven. But overslept today. Oh and I slipped in a visit to Sézane and bought a cardigan and trainers I’d ummed and ahed over but which I think are lovely in real life

musuc concert in a candlelit church to go to

very casual and comfortable today ( as always). Yesterday I was all nice and dressed up like a Parisian and DH had his mountain warehouse back pack and wanders around with a map! No chance of mistaking us for locals…

Thanks everyone for the trouser love, I'm keeping them as they are comfy, and actually quite warm, giving them another go today and gone completely pink with my super fluffy, soft jumper from nastygal!
I have a confession though....I feel like brittany spears because "oops i did it again" i caved this morning and just thought I'd have a little peek at nastygal app this morning and ended up buying 7 more pairs of shoes, albeit I got all of them for £60 all in, so a total and utter bargain (damn those 40% sales, on top of the 80%sales already, i just wasnt going to go away empty handed) and I was trying so hard not to buy anything!

I haven't bought anything new since December, had a no buy January and it's going to extend into February as I want to try and save any spends for the spring season. We've also booked a week skiing in Austria after half term so definitely don't have funds for frivolous spending sadly. I have started having my nails done though which is lovely after years of neglect. Definitely lost my mojo when it comes to clothes at the moment, I'm looking forward to summer dressing now.

Oh today I'm wearing wide leg trousers from M&S, Converse, Old Jumper and Allsaints leather jacket.
