'Money No Object' shampoo+cond for hair that gets greasy after 1 day?

Money no object meaning I'm happy to pay more for something that works, I'm not a millionaire 😀

My hair will wash and style well, it's heavy and seems to look greasy on the second day after a full day of freshly washed.

I use L'Oréal Fibrology as it definitely helps my hair to be thicker but I've used more expensive shampoos just haven't particularly rated them.

I do use dry shampoo for 2nd/3rd days sometimea but could never go longer and try to avoid it due to potential overuse issues.

Any suggestions for a shampoo that will fight grease as well as help the hair stay lightweight but keep thickens and volume?

I feel I may aswell be asking for a Unicorn...!

I have fine hair which is long and tends to greasy, and I've just made my peace with the fact that it needs washing every day.

Some people simply have greasy hair, like having oily skin. Not washing has never made one iota of difference.
One shampoo that extends the time between washing a little for me is Kerastase Specifique, for greasy scalp and sensitive ends.
Second thing - use dry shampoo on clean hair. Works way better than using it when hair is already greasy.

Me too. I still hate it though.

The only time I didn't need to wash it every day was during pregnancy when it had a bizarre second trimester phase and all the oil dried up. Happened both times.

Which one?

Just see this I use a brown bottle and a green bottle alternative to each other a bottle lasts 3 months at least

Just labelled with the Bed Head brand no additional name?

Such as Volumizing or Clarifying?

I do two lathers of Ouai for fine hair and their conditioner just on the ends and can go 2-3 days without being unbearably greasy.

Going against the grain but I found going silicone free made my hair worse!
I have fine hair and despite going silicone free for months it felt tacky and limp after I'd washed it.
It's been loads better since I switched back to a cheap silicone based shampoo 🤷🏼‍♀️

I genuinely believe reducing washing works for some.

Mine is hormonal, my hair changes colour (darker) by lunchtime the day after washing and gets irritated if the oils/grease/bacteria are not cleaned away regularly. Bleaching it helps as it makes it dryer but that isn’t exactly a solution.

I like Tresemme hydrate and purify and the Living Proof dry shampoo.

I have been using Christophe Robin scalp scrub which came as part of one of those beauty box deals. I've had it for ages but thought it was a skin scrub (of which I have loads) so hadn't tried it. What a game changer, it's the only thing that cleans my hair thoroughly and smells absolutely gorgeous. Usually I have a greasy patch almost as soon as it's dried but not with this.

I tried to reset my hair from washing daily at the start of lockdown as we couldn’t go out anyway, and a month later it still hadn’t got used to washing every 2 or 3 days and just looked awful. I don’t understand how you’re meant to go to work with filthy hair every second day for months if you persevere! I gave up. I can get away with washing with conditioner on the second day but it leaves it limp and the whole point was to avoid hassle, not still have to wash it and then have crap hair anyway.

I have find hair too and silicone free leaves me hair far too soft and limp.

Exactly. I went for ages not washing in lockdown and it made no difference.

I'm in the greasy hair camp.

I find redken extreme good and k18 hair mask.

I decided to try try a cheaper shampoo and it was awful. My dd kept telling me my hair was greasy. Back to the Redken!

Going to say this louder for the people in the back…. “SOME PEOPLE HAVE TO WASH THEIR EVERY DAY”.

Enough with telling people you don’t even know that they shouldn’t be washing their hair every day.
