What style and beauty lessons have you learnt in 2022, the good, bad and the awful?

@Takenoprisoner It’s easy to find your shade using the testers. The Clinique counter is near the M and S makeup one and was happy to provide me with samples. I think that’s the best thing to do tbh get some samples and test at home and then buy. I normally need the help of the SA to find my shade however I did it without any help and it worked out.

If you buy something new and then don't want to wear it straight away, it's not for you so return it. ( this doesn't apply to your wedding dress. )
If you buy something that you really enjoy wearing buy another in a different colour, you'll be glad you did. ( M&S slim fit cords in 3 colours, this means you!)
Don't waste time and money trying to be what you're not. I'd like to be the sort of woman who wears skirts and dresses instead of trousers, but I've finally learned to accept the fact that I'm not.

Sequin tops really suit me, I never had as many compliments as when I wore the one I bought for Christmas and New Year.
