I have some s&b type goals for next year and am trying to do it on a bit of a budget...

I'm turning 40 next year and want to be looking and feeling a bit better by then

  1. I'm doing a long stint of no booze after new year and I assume I will be GLOWING after this 😂 (obviously this is free of charge and may actually save me some money)

  2. I am going to see an orthodontist about my overcrowded teeth

  3. I'm going to try and stay on top of my beauty bits and pieces; skincare, nails, hair removal etc

  4. Finally, I'm going to join the (inexpensive) gym near me (and actually go)

My plan for 2023 is to get a grip of myself. I feel completely lost since DS was born 7 months ago and it's time to get a grip of the situation. The plan is;

  1. A makeup no-buy and to thoroughly evaluate what I use. If I don't buy anything buy the end of the year, I can reward myself with an advent calendar.

  2. Evaluate and rework my work capsule wardrobe. I return to work in March and want to look polished - I also need to add WFH outfits to it as well.

  3. Get my colours done

  4. Start yoga again. Just ten minutes a day.

This is such a great read!

Come 1 January I'm

  1. Restarting Joe Wicks 90 day plan
  2. Dry January
  3. Walking at lunchtime every day
  4. One Night pampering
  5. More personal care (using a local friend's beautician who comes to the house)
  1. Contemplating botox

Please help with 6!!! I don't know where to start! My face needs a boost as I've aged in the last 3 years (I'm 50). But petrified of the thought of something going wrong....so any advice welcome!!

Great thread. My main S&B goals are:

  1. Lose weight
  2. Clear out my wardrobe
  3. Better night routine - take off make up and floss every night

  1. I am going to reduce the amount of clothes and cosmetics I have. I am determined to just stop buying stuff and use up the things I have. I have made a list of all the cosmetics I have and it is a very long list. Will do a final total on 1st January and work down from there.
  2. I am going to drink less wine and generally just look after myself.
  3. Most importantly, I am going to have fun, not strictly S & B but laughter is good for the soul and beauty comes from within - win win!

I've been reducing fast fashion purchases over the last couple of years so now I'm going to try to stop altogether. I've got some nice things - I don't need to buy more unless there are gaps in my wardrobe or if things wear out.
I am going to whiten my teeth more regularly.
Figure out how the hell to drop the perimenopausal weight.

If you don't know someone for a recommendation I'd find someone via the tweakments guide (Google). You'll be able to go to a doctor that has done it 100s of times and they'll ask you all the right questions to ensure you get the effect you want.
