A mascara that doesn't end up smudged under your eyes - does it actually exist?

Because I've never found one and I must have bought practically everyone on the market.

Help please!

I have the same issue and found Estée Lauder double wear mascara works for me. Have you tried that one? With anything else, I have to wear a primer underneath and that’s a real faff when you just want to put a tiny bit on for work!

Hourglass Extreme Lash. Makes mine super long and no smudging. At a cheaper price point, the Aldi Benefit dupe is very good, I bill buy it when they have it in stock.

Another vote for Hourglass, have just converted to it after looking on here for non-panda eye mascaras. If you’re bone idle like me and don’t take your (admittedly minimal) make-up off, it’ll still be good as gold the next day. 😆

Tubing mascara. Google it. I won't wear anything else now! Clinique do a good one

No7 waterproof, never smudges.

I cycle a lot which in winter often means cycling in the rain and cheapo own waterproof works best for me.

The best waterproof mascara ever, is by Boots N0.7. And great for sensitive eyes.

I second tubing mascara. Game changer. I've got the No7 one and the Clinique one. Both are v good. They both stay put until I take it off with warm water.

Benefit they're real.

The best mascara I've ever used (and still use) is - surprisingly - the £2.99 princess lash mascara from Wilkos! The waterproof one has never let me down, its excellent and cheap as chips.

yes to thermal underwear. they are so thin you can wear anything above.
uniqlo heatech is great but outdoor stores are full of ski stuff atm which us similar.

silk is also very warm, if you have a silk blouse for example.

or the classic polo shirt under a smart jumper.

plus the heated blanket/hot water bottle on your lap. no one's going to see that.

Any old mascara either sandwiched between estee lauder little black primer or with a coat of clinique lashpower over it.

Are you using a cream eyeshadow?

Mine doesn't smudge. I either get Dior, Benefit, or Givenchy. Never get waterproof.

Tubing mascaras don't smudge. Only thing that's ever worked for me. My problem is trying to work out which is tubing! Clinique one is good.

Mine smudges if I forget to set my concealer and if I use the smallest amount of powder, it's fine

Tubing mascara for me. I use MAC Extended Play. Also works over some mascaras.

I always get panda eyes with every single mascara except Mac waterproof and Clinique waterproof formula, life changing for me :)

I have to use tubing, just bought the Mac one, life changing!

Apply your powder on your eyelids - the whole area around the orbital socket and your mascara will never smudge again.

It'll be moisturiser or foundation a lot if the time causing it to smudge more than the mascara itself

Another vote for hourglass here. I've tried countless mascaras from loads of different price points, even some mentioned here, and hourglass is the only one that doesn't budge

I wear any of the Max Factor waterproof mascaras, and they don't smudge.
