Are there actually any so called superstay lipsticks that actually stay on?luke they say they will?

I am currently trying out the maybelline 24 lip stick- the one with the lip balm at one end. It’s only been 2 hours and it has already rubbed off the inner part of my lips leaving me with a not very attractive looking lip rim.
is there ANY brand that actually works?
I must be an excessive lip- licker or something 🤔?

Yves Saint Laurent absolutely will.

Huda liquid lipstick stays on for ages and is really comfortable to wear,
you do need to reapply in the middle of your lips every few hours but I find that to be the case with all longwear lipsticks Inc maybelline

Maybelline lip ink? I dunno. Cuboid shape. Names like hero and stuff. Lasts forever

It can look a bit drying but I sing and I use the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick and after a gig I'm usually hot and sweaty but lipstick is still in place, not on the mic, down my chin or on the punters! Still takes some removing when I get home!

Chanel rouge allure intense - it’s my party lipstick as the colour is gorgeous, intense as it says, and stays on despite eating and drinking.

The Kylie lip kit ones stay on all day for me

A mate of mine is absolutely besotted by the Lady Gaga one, Haus I think the brand is. She said nothing will shift it come hell or high water. I haven’t tried it myself though.

This one is amazing, I put on a nude of this then a colour over the top. Lasts all night and even all day at work. I put it on before 7am and am washing it off at 10pm, never had a lippy so good before

My lips have been described by several makeup artists as 'Teflon coated'!

It isn't cheap but the only colour I can get to stay on my lips for more than 10 minutes is the Dior Lip Tatoo range. It's supposed to last 12 hours but my record is 6 (impressive for me - a friend tried it and it lasted 12 hours on her). It doesn't dry my lips, peel or feel strange and a little goes a looooooong way!

Did no one read the op? She said the Maybelline 24hr super stay doesn't work for her.
I'm in the same boat op. I think I just have alien lips /skin. Everything melts off ☹️

I read the OP just fine. The matte ink is different to the one in the OP. I've used both and the matte ink lasts far longer than the other one.

Use lip liner and fill in, then blot lightly. Maybe put a second layer over. If wearing foundation that goes on first, little on lips, then liner etc. used the one you have and it's not as good but ok for not feeling so dry with the balm.
If you eat something greasy/oily
That can take it off slightly so be careful.

anyway on the back of that I have bought a Matt ink.
I would love to try the Dior tattoo but it’s a tad pricey.
I do have a kylie one- it’s one of the better ones but not amazing.
I think I need to let them dry properly.

God how many variants of a red lippy can one woman have? And so many expensive ones- Dior, chanel( more than one) Este Lauder, YSL.I feel embarrassed 😳.

Agreed, same here. It is matte though. Not bad colour choice.
