So this coat and this hat from Vinted have made it to the list of favourite purchases this year along with DM chelsea boots. Today: Stripey top M&S, Black crop jeans John Lewis. Sorry for the yellow tinge - it was dark when I took the pic this morning and all the lights are on.

Nothing from me again even though I did get dressed and worked mostly spent the day on zoom sorting out our new ERP system we are nearly there with it.

Oh my god what a day, im bloomin' knackered, been standing in those boots again all day, i didn't learn from yesterday, although I think I'm teaching my feet to get used to the pain🤣
(They'll look like Jens feet from it crowd, when she tried to fit into those court shoes, by the end of the week I reckon)
Well I've got some days free now so on with housework and maybe putting Xmas Dec's up with kids🎄and getting some orders out, it never ends!

DH said no Japanese woman would ever wear anything like this as they would look ridiculous in it, but somehow I looked fine (apparently). I am on my way now to shock people with the lobsters while heading to the nursery. 😁

Yesterday was busy! Went to get a passport photo done at a little copy shop and had lunch with DS’s girlfriend which was lovely. I’m so happy they are back together ( after an 8 year break). Did some mooching in an organic grocery in a nearby town and bought tons of stuff for DD and me

@Purplecatshopaholic and @Cardigansalltheway (I see why now) excellent long cardigans. I've got a really Chucky one kicking about somewhere but it's so bulky to store I've clearly scrunched it into somewhere (probably the bottom of a wardrobe) as it wouldn't fit anywhere else. And now I can't summon the energy to scrabble through to get it out.

V late posting today, bonkers busy work day but finally sat down with a g&t and looking at everyone's outfits - a lovely way to unwind!

@KiteflyingKoala I know exactly what you mean about casual dressing - if you're used to spending time and money on smarter office/evening wear, nice casual clothes can often take a backseat. I started investing in things like nicer jeans, jumpers, casual dresses etc more recently as not only did I get fed up with being scruffy whilst working from home but I never seemed to have anything nice for eg an evening in the local pub, the cinema etc. Much happier now with my wardrobe overall and work is now more informal so a lot of stuff is interchangeable between work, home and going out. That coat is beautiful btw, a timeless classic.

I'm in the office today, wearing my colorful Sezane outfit with Blue label Crestbridge coat I got on sale this spring as I wouldn't be able to afford it full price.

I don't usually take photos for the nursery run outfit if I had another (more stylish) outfit taken earlier on the same day, but today I bothered.
It's quite chilly today, after +21 on Wednesday it feels like winter finally.

@shannith I got the jumper to wear in hospital when DD lived there for 4 months for chemo and wore it almost every day! Each year I think about culling it but I really love it despite the unpleasant associations.! Go back and get it

I’m clearly in a neat jumper and jeans phase! Practical for Friday baking though

A good coat hides a multitude of sun - that for example I'm basically wearing a pyjama top underneath it!
