Budget balm cleansers

So I’ve come to the end of my Lacura Balm Cleanser stash and I am bereft - it was sooo good. Think it was supposed to be a dupe for Emma Hardie but I can’t afford EH!

It was the first cleanser in forever that got rid of my dry patches on my nose but actually cleansed my skin and left it feeling so soft.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative - preferably under £10?

Ponds cold cream taken off with a hot flannel is brilliant

Having said I really like the Lacura original Hot Cloth Cleanser I have changed my mind. I'm not keen on eucalyptus oil anyway (which is one of the reasons I gave up using Liz Earle) and the Lacura one had just enough without it being irritating on my skin. I don't know if they've changed the formula but the new one I have just opened smells like pine toilet cleaner and made my face red. I tried it last night and this morning, but it really isn't pleasant. Luckily I've got a travel size of the Clinique cleansing balm so I'll use that going forward and bin the Lacura one. It's a shame - I hate not using something up!

Stupid question......do you rub it in then flannel it off? Thanks

I do - with a hot flannel.

Just picked up some Lacura hot cloth cleanser in store - now worried it's no good!

I use Weleda baby oil with calendula. Fantastic for taking off all traces of makeup and leaving skin dewy. A bottle lasts about 6 mths.

I soak my white facecloths in Napisan before putting them in a hot wash.

Marks and Spencer Pure cleansing balm 12.00 way better than nearly 4 times dearer Elemis. Which i tried on a QVC offer during lockdown and now cant afford But M&S is better.

Heimish all clean. A cult Korean cleanser. It is basic and cheap. I liked it

M&S one here too in a green pot. I don’t think they do it now but when it runs out I’ll buy another M&S one. DD uses the BodyShop Camomile, she has very sensitive dry skin but this doesn’t irritate . I bought some washable round bamboo cleaning pads

The Lacura hot cloth cleanser is available through Aldi online and is currently £1.99 instead of £2.99. If you buy 3 this negates the postage cost.

If you and a friend or relative made a batch together it wouldn’t be costly.

The Revolutionx Sali Hughes Butterclean is really nice
