Great trainers (to wear with dresses)

Wear dresses and skirts, a lot. Could do with some fab trainers to go with these. I tend to wear black tights with dresses, so they need to go with these - I’m not against colour at all and don’t want trainers to totally blend in, if that makes sense, but wonder if they need a bit of black in them to go with the tights, IYSWIM? TIA. 😊

I wear these a lot with black tights, they're full waterproof so perfect for winter. Similar vibe to chunky boots but far more comfortable.

Side topic but how about any nice loafer style (flat) pumps? Used to have the Russell & Bromley ones but they are worn out and so pricey. Looking for something that's not too masculine but more structure than a ballet pump. Same as OP, with dresses and tights for work

Oh for goodness' sake, why do you believe that everyone on this thread is a style icon just because they follow some weird set of unwritten rules? Of course you can wear trainers with tights. I recommend Converse.

I just googled trainers with tights to see what I am missing fashion wise these days..... it looks like you have stuck some trainers on to commute and have your actual shoes in your bag.
Not for me I'm afraid!
