Secret Santa £50 budget - what would you ask for?

Family Secret Santa so quite a generous budget. What would you put on your wishlist? I'm thinking nice candles/diffusers/skincare/haircare? Scarf maybe?

A semi secret santa then 🙃
I’m all for not wasting money, but you might as well all buy yourself something and cut out the middle man 👏

A bit of a weird attitude, you get what you wanted and no one wastes money on tatt. Also you literally spend just £50 on Christmas presents. I can only see it as a good thing.

waltzingparrot · 25/10/2022 18:32

3 jars of Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub please.

MrsPetty · 09/11/2022 18:21

Clarins cleanser & toner. Diptyque soap - the rose one. Chanel Mademoiselle lipstick…
I love dirty Santa 😂 www.dirtysantarules.com/

Pinkframes · 09/11/2022 19:08

DarlingCoffee · 09/11/2022 20:12

Gufo · 09/11/2022 20:14

Voucher for a massage

jamontoastaddict · 09/11/2022 20:42

Olaplex shampoo and conditioner please. And some little chocolates to make it up to £50 I can they get a Black Friday deal on it.

nagnagnag · 09/11/2022 20:44

I wouldn't put a list as it might get confusing - they might try to buy you several things off the list (but cut-price versions). Put the exact item you want with a link!

ZeldaWillTellYourFortune · 09/11/2022 20:54

Leather gloves
Massage voucher
Box set
Silver earrings

Lcb123 · 09/11/2022 20:55

A bottle of English sparkling wine and a posh candle

FearofQueefing · 09/11/2022 21:42

Jones Road miracle balm
Snag merino wool tights
L'Occitane Cherry Blossom smellies
A big box of Tunnock's teacakes Grin

Jellybean23 · 09/11/2022 21:49

I'd ask for a phone bag - a little crossbody bag , just big enough for a phone, credit cards and keys.

grannyjacob · 09/11/2022 22:48

Leather gloves, wine or other favourite drink, silk pillow case, Lego set, body lotion that matches your favourite perfume, magazine subscription.

OhThatChicken · 09/11/2022 22:54

Lego plant set, Jarvis Cocker book and a chocolate orange. I'd be very chuffed with that.

Stewball01 · 10/11/2022 08:20

I would buy something that I'd like to get as a present with a return note.

WeAreTheHeroes · 10/11/2022 08:29

This thread just shows that people don't read the OP properly - she's asking for suggestions she can put on her wishlist, not what to buy for someone else.

Zipps · 10/11/2022 11:15

UGG socks
Henry and co wax melts
Perfume
Hotel chocolate

Boshi · 11/11/2022 08:26

What do you like? I’d put on my list

boofle mug
cashmere bed socks
bracelet
cuff earring
dyptique candle
a beautiful box
lots of stationary - cute pens, colourful post its
fancy bookmark
cashmere lined leather gloves
weighted blanket
weighted and heated silk eye mask

Boshi · 11/11/2022 08:26

Btw we do the same thing and since we’ve started doing it this way with a wish list everyone enjoys receiving presents more! Still the element of surprise but you get stuff you wanted and will use

MrsPetty · 11/11/2022 11:43

This thread has given me so many great ideas for my Christmas shopping! Thanks OP and repliers. I’m sure my family will thank you … I’d only read the Goop guide 😂

If they know the limit is 50 quid and each item is about that, they wont be getting multiple items, how is a list confusing???
But they may find it easier to shop with one place or another so having a choice is pretty good.

Possommagician · 11/11/2022 18:58

Oohhh we have the same limit!

Where is everyone finding diptique candles for 50 quid? They're 54 everywhere I can see! Really want one but our upper budget is a strict 50

WensleydaleCrumbs · 11/11/2022 19:06

We do the same thing with the adults in our family and I LOVE it.

The Elfster App is a revelation!

On my list I have a few cookbooks, a lovely bottle of gin with some balloon gin glasses. Fancy body scrub, some face oil and a sleep mask :)

Lots to pick from and it'll still be a surprise!

mrssmiling · 11/11/2022 19:32

Another vote for the White Company cashmere bed socks. With one of their little Winter candles.
