Are diamonds ageing?

Hello,

I bought myself (lab grown) diamond earrings and a pendant for Christmas (might as well, no one else will!!). I'm tempted to buy a ring also.....however, I'm wondering if diamonds (lab grown or otherwise) have had their day.

Is it aging to have jewelry dripping from your fingers? Have we all moved on from unnecessary trinkets?

Lmao. As a rule, I wear about 3 rings on each finger. Mixed metals and stones at that. I bought this stuff and I'm sure as hell everyone is going to see it.

My new favourite set is some stacking rings from Shaun Leane. They've got black pearls inset and look great beside my skull rings.

Can you post a pic they sound gorgeous

Diamonds are often worn and kept forever, so it’s not surprising they can’t also be the height of fashion at all times. Classic more than ageing I’d say.

Silver/white gold/platinum and diamonds suit those with cool colouring more than warm.

I would say only aging because young people either cannot afford, or have not inherited diamonds. So you don't see 20-somethings wearing diamond jewellery.

I disagree-every 20 something (they tend to be mid-late 20s) at work who has got engaged in recent years, has a diamond solitaire.

Diamonds go with everything. Even tracksuits. The key to wearing anything at all including jewelry, is feeling good in it and liking what you see in the mirror.

If your pendant and earrings are matching, then that look may be a little dated rather than ‘ageing’. I would wear them separately but that’s just me.

Wear what feels and looks good to you. And enjoy your new diamonds!

Wear what you like people and enjoy it.
It really is as simple as that!
