Right, I'm getting a onesie

Always thought adults wearing onesies was a bit infantile and embarrassing, but this winter it's going to be cold and I've stopped giving fucks.

Who knows of a good one, with a hood, warm winter-weight but ideally NOT sweaty polyester? I'm open to either plain or novelty colours and styles (I don't even mind ears/a tail if it's the right onesie).
Budget is up to about £50.

Not cheap, but Duns of Sweden do ones that are organic cotton and have grown-up prints.

Thank you! I've looked at that one, but wasn't sure cotton would be warm enough for winter (old stone house and I'm a chilly mortal!). Also they only have a medium and although I'm 5' 10" I'm a beanpole (size 8) and wonder if it'd be too big?

I think as you’re slim you’d probably be better with a Small. They are plenty warm enough - ours have a brushed cotton inside which feels soft and is toasty. Feel your pain as our house is old and is cold and very draughty in winter!

I know,the prices are steep but you’ll love it and never take it off,so it’s less alarming to just think of the cost per wear!☺️Keep an eye on the website,as they always do an offer from anytime between about now and the run up to Christmas. (That’s when I bought our pressie ones for family.)

I think we're kindred cold spirits I am probably going to buy the medium, even though it might be quite big. It's a (relative bargain), and it'll give me the option to wear bulky winter clothes under it I'm just justifying it to myself really

There's a seller on ebay who seems to have a few Onepiece onesies which got musty in storage, for £15 each Inc postage. I've taken a punt on one. If not genuine can return. Hoping a proper wash with Zoflora in the rinse will do the trick.

Is anyone else reading this thread and considering getting a onesie and an oldie to wear over it?

Wearing my new oodie now, no heating on and toasty warm. I've only had it for a week and it's been on every evening. I think you'll love it.

I received mine from ebay - authentic and looks perfect. Seller included dryer sheets so just smells of dryer sheets. So full marks to seller but Xl size, while theoretically right for my bust measurement, was built for a giraffe. Best get some detailed sizing info from the makers before buying I think.

It’s 80% cotton. Feels and looks lovely. Nice fleecy lining. Not that musty at all but smelt strongly of febreeze or similar. It’s very long though but I noticed on the pics the onesie is kind of gathered at the ankle. Ive not tried it on yet as I couldn’t bring myself to with the strong smell. I’ve washed it and the febreeze smell has gone though so it’s drying now. Not tumble dry-able which is annoying but I’ll prob chuck it in there eventually anyway.
