Outdoor wedding outfit - help please!

I'm attending a wedding in a couple of weeks time, it's outdoors in a forest, followed by indoor meal and then dj and dancing. I have no idea what to wear.
I'm 40+, size 14, and absolutely hate my figure. I have a history of anorexia and am still struggling with my size now. Nothing I wear makes me feel good.
I have very little time, even less money but just don't want to feel ashamed of what I look like for one day. It's a massive ask I know, but any miraculous suggestions that I might feel vaguely comfortable with?

That series of events and settings sounds really difficult OP! Especially if temperatures stay as low as they've been this week.

A posh version of layers maybe - beautiful (and warm) jacket/scarf/hat with a nice dress underneath?

Is there a dress code? How about a sharp suit. You can button up the suit if it's a bit chilly and wear a coat over it. Take the jacket and coat off indoors to reveal an equally sharp blouse or silk shirt.

It's a bloody nightmare !

Also does woodland mean tame stuff with good quality metalled paths through out or something needing sturdy shoes or boots? Will guests need to take a change of footwear?

Tbh, it sounds a bit pretentious and not very considerate of guests. Most people own / can buy / borrow a wedding outfit to wear indoors and not really have to bother about the outer layer as you won't be outside that long or it is a summer wedding and you don't need outer layers.

But here the guests are going to be outdoors for at least the service - is wedding smart outdoor wear going to be expected to?

Is the wedding in the UK? If so, where roughly in the country for temperature context and when???

What is your shape and colouring? Hourglass, apple, V etc. Colouring? It all helps to be able to advise.

The wedding is UK, Midlands, and I believe the ground will all be grass. What footwear to wear is another issue! Money has been so tight for so long, I've barely bought myself anything, so just have scruffy, falling apart stuff.
I'm generally warm autumn type colours, not really sure on my shape, I'd guess pear. All I see when I look in the mirror is stomach, lots of stomach.
Dress code is basically whatever you want .

Joe Browns have some nice dresses and great coats. Might be worth a look.

Sympathies for your history of anorexia and discomfort in the body you are in now. It sounds like a healthy body though - a 14 is a fairly middling size and although you can just see tummy I'm sure you have great legs or statuesque shoulders or good tits or muscular arms.

Financially it seems like buying new isn't going to work, so here are a few suggestions:

What do you wear to work? Do you have black trousers and a plain top? You could wear those with a new collar type / chunky necklace from primark or Etsy and bright nail varnish. Stick your wellies on for the outdoor bit and take heels to change into for the indoor bit.

Do you have any dresses at all? Could you pick out the secondary colour (say it's navy and pink) and buy or borrow pink accessories. Pink heels, nail varnish, dangly earrings (they work better on a slightly more shapely woman sometimes), pink handbag.

It sounds like it's going to be a pretty casual affair, so I'd focus on practicality and comfort. I love chunky boots with a dress and I think that'd be ideal - good for the woodland walk and comfy for dancing.

This info might help dress your body shape:

If the venue is grass and you plan to wear a heel- I'd either wear a wedge, or, you can put on small, plastic stopper things that stop your heels sinking into the grass- like these. There are lots of other brands on ebay/amazon etc.
