Slobbing out again today. Pouring down but so warm. I didn’t photograph with my waterproof on my way out to swim this morning because it really didn’t go well. Nice coat but navy and the wrong shape for with joggers. Was functional but looked bad! I have two grey jackets but one lacks a hood and the other is for winter temps.

Wyse London cashmere jumper- charity shop

Short sleeve Topshop animal print shirt dress from a charity shop

I watched the Celine A/W 22-23 show today and they had two looks where it was an animal print dress or skirt with a stripe jumper and fair isle jumper on top so that is the look I am trying to channel all be it from the charity shops!!

The dress came with a belt but it’s not great and so I have popped a brown leather belt with it also from the same charity shop.

My coat and scarf are stuffed in my bag just in case.

@faffadoodlewooooo I've got pretty good at spotting quality bits - it's all in the feel of the fabric. Also I flick though and check all the labels.

My other trick is to always look a size up or down from my actual size - up one more for tops as sizing is odd and I quick like oversized. Vintage sizes always run small.

But I live in Surrey/Sussex boarder so a high percentage of decent brands.

@WestrayWife I adore that jumper. I've got a few jumper that just make me smile when I wear the lm - bet that's yours.

@DeathlyQuietNeighbour that's not full on slob at all. You are clean and not crumpled. That's fancy leisurewear in their house

Jumper - Ghatani Strok - Google reveals it's vintage designer. It's pure wool and very warm. £2 yesterday

Dammit - meant to say this is my Sunday attempt at slob but not normal levels of slob (were I'd be wearing a old huge sweatshirt or hoody.

@Shannith thanks for the outfit love, I have to admit full on slob here is something I have literally bleached to death via cleaning and joggers with ungodly stains (bleach), random snags allover and probs a hole in the crutch, it's never a pretty sight but really bloody comfy🤣 oh and odd socks from dh stash( their my socks nooow!)

Had a bit of time today so did some outfit trying on as I'm out with work related events every week sometimes twice a week until mid December. Sounds glamorous but really isn't also have to be organised with juggling family life and work.

Taking part in some inspection today, which will probably include lots of moving around, so dressed up for comfort rather than the typical business style.

Someone asked about storage: for summer stuff I use the rail in spare room
Wardrobe as DS has left home. But also two really useful boxes under my bed for summer shorts and tops. Many of my things are dual season but obviously some dresses and so in are just for hot weather. I no longer have a holiday box though. My main stuff I just roll up tightly in drawers
