@Puddinandpie you can pull them off too you just haven’t found the right ones yet! I have quite a few now and when I find the right fit I’ll buy them in all available colours. Some can be an awful fit and really unflattering but there are great ones too. I can feel Ross’s pain - I wore these to work the other day for the first time (I work in a very quiet environment) and they squeak as I walk🤣.

@MargotLB your right I need to keep looking, I find trousers hard to buy anyway because I'm really heavy round the bum area sods law!😁 Well you look fab in yours!

No pic today as I'm vegging out with kids and dh watching only fools and horses boxset, so really boring but oh so comfy joggers and tshirt!

I did however get my mary janes from RI today and I am soooo disappointed 😞 they are crap and that's sugar coating it!! They're really pinchy and rock hard to wear so not comfy at all and also the heel is literally like a brick of rubber, they're soooo heavy (I might as well strap weights to my feet, my dh said that I'd have legs like Arnie by the end of the day if I wore them!!)
So I'm still looking for those perfect mary janes!

Last night I wore flare jeans for the first time in over 12 years and I have to say I am so glad they have made a come back! Very flattering and immediately elongate the legs. These ones are just from New Look, a bargain.

Agree @EllaPaella , flares are fab and flattering on practically everyone. Yours look great, love the leopard cami you've styled them with.

I've had yet another throwback to the nineties/noughties and invested in a pair of techno trousers, pictured here. It's going to be hard to wear anything else on a weekend, these are SO comfy.

I love looking at your outfits. I currently have the lurch so I'm wearing black mark joggers from Peacocks and a Harvard sweatshirt with a polo shirt collar courtesy of Primark. I'm at MiLs, but if I was at home I'd be curled up on the sofa under a blanket in my pjs.

@EllaPaella thanks its one of my fav cardi's really snuggly! That is so true I have recently bought 2 pairs of flares and they do really flatter well! Loving the cami, outfit looks superb!😍

@Sickoffamilydrama the long Mint Velvet boots would look AMAZING with a navy or black midi dress or skirt. Just sayin’ 😁.

Oh yes definitely only thing is they are nearly £200, I'll keep an eye out for them in the sale.

They do take me back to my teens my favorite outfit was a short dress/skirt and knee high boots

Yes and practicality wise I'd probably get more wear out of the black version of these. I've been keeping an eye out for over the knee boots for years so will have to get a pair now they are back in fashion!

@Sickoffamilydrama omg the cowboy boots are amazing😍🤩 I just wish you hadn't shown me them now!!! I love free people but only allow myself to look at the weir website twice a year its addictive otherwise!!! Oh no! oh no! Oh no no no no no!🤣

Worked yesterday until 11 p.m., was not very excited to wake up today at 5 a.m. as usual!
My friend and I met for a lunch this weekend & took some touristy photos for fun. I must say I don't like myself in any sorts of jeans/ trousers that are not skinny, I feel that they make me appear bigger than I am.  This goes for girlfriend jeans, straight trousers, dungarees, flares etc., I've already been steering clear of the wide jeans trend that's fashionable nowadays, but looks like skinnies are the only type that flatters my legs. Even my friend, who usually keeps any comments to herself, pointed that out!

Running errands today in Boden jeans, Joules top and these new heattech socks from Uniqlo. They are so pretty! These socks are from some collab collection that was launched 3 days ago, and already sold out in my size

Dressed for cosines at work today but it's really warm here.

Cardigan from TK Maxx (it's a current favourite), old River Island blouse, M&S suedette leggings, Schuh boots.

@Sickoffamilydrama - I have some over-the-knee boots very similar to that (taupe suede, only with a bit of a block heel). The colour is surprisingly versatile. I must dig them out when I get home!

A bit warmer/sunnier today. Although we still have thunderstorms forecast (spectacular lightning last night).
