I've had a look at the cardigans online, and I must say though current apple/ dolphins buttons are really pretty, I think they are not very much “me”, so I’ll wait to see what else will be released in the future.
Do you happen to know how often &other stories update their knitwear collection?

A very important in-person meeting today. I managed to bail out of working until 3 a.m. tonight leading an 'event' for clients, but might need to work until around midnight tomorrow and on Sunday for similar events because it looks like remote support might not be enough. I wish we could have these events at an earlier time, but alas!

Thanks for all the good wishes. We are all still definitely unwell, but I am dressed ( kind of, don’t be fooled the trousers are elastic waist) and I showered for the first time in a week! I felt too faint and dizzy to risk it before. DD is still very very unwell

Thank you @OublietteBravo I can't believe how much we've been floored by it. DH had a high temperature and a new hacking cough yesterday evening and I forbade him from attending an evening meeting. He has only taken 3 days off and I think he needed 2 weeks. So many people have it here, we seem to be one of the highest hit in England (why?)

Today is the first day in about 2 weeks im dressed!! Adding cardigan on top of if I get cold. It’s actually mild here today but I get really cold when I sit still!

@EllaPaella thanks! Whilst I was v pleased with the outfit, the heeled boots were torture by the end of the day. I'd been in them since 6.30am, so by the time it came to getting the train home (7pm), I was so pleased to have had the foresight to bring my trusty Vejas for the journey home!

@faffadoodledo wearing nice tailored clothes is definitely a bonus of going into the office (that and going out for lunch and having my nails done 😁).

@PalacePaper really like your pink jumper from yesterday. Is that the Me and Em one and how do you find the sizing? I'm only 5'2" and am worried the clothes look they are made for tall people, is that the case?

@toucaninjapan looking great in blue! The events thing sounds incredibly tough - is that standard in Japan? I'm responsible for organising client events at work and it's very unusual for anything to go on past 10pm, usual finish time is much earlier.

A much more casual day today to give my poor feet a rest!

@Cardigansalltheway no, that's definitely not a standard here to work this late!
I'm working in the airline industry and the 'events' I have this week (they don't happen often) unfortunately couldn't be arranged at a more convenient time (nobody's happy they are this late).
I'll go in tomorrow after all, hopefully we'll finish not around midnight, but more like 10 p.m.! On Sunday I'll be covering it remotely though

Great outfit @toucaninjapan. @Sooverthemill, I hope everyone is on the mend now. PurplecatDog is back at the vets for scans of his prostate today - such a worry. He is in good hands, but such a sappy mummy’s boy, I know he will be so nervous and scared. Picking him up later, and fingers crossed he gets the all clear. Dress is by Nicholas - a brand that is new to me but I love this dress so will checking them out more. Boots are Stuart Weitzman. Ignore the bloody awful patterned socks - they defo don’t work and I changed them, lol.

@Cardigansalltheway yes the pink jumper is Me+Em. I'm also 5'2" I have a couple of their jumpers and the length is really good for me except the sleeves which feel like they're made for Inspector Gadget as they're soooo long! (Though I do have short arms so I'm used to it - but it's more extreme than other brands). I think some styles are longer in length on the body though. I'm a size 10-12 but with a larger bust and have a size medium, could get away with a small but wanted to allow for some shrinkage and a slightly looser fit.

One thing I did notice is that the larger the size the longer the jumper - again more noticeable than with other brands. I really don't get why they do that, just because someone is a smaller size it doesn't necessarily mean they're shorter 🤔

@Sooverthemill love the colours on that shirt, you sound like how me and mine were earlier in the year when we had covid, I remember the room just spinning for 5 days straight, then when I sat up I had to lay back down and the pains up and down my legs were terrible, i remember having to bump down stairs on my bum because I thought I would fall down them, same with dh too, i dropped half a stone in a week couldnt eat anything (it was nice, my bum not being so big and my double chin non existent but at the cost of covid not so much🙈) covid is awful, I'm so glad your feeling able to even get dressed, that's a step in itself!!
