Cocktail dress for Burgh Island

So I am finally going to Burgh Island, and I need help finding the perfect dress for dinner.

I am 5'4", between a 12 & 14. Would rather not be sleeveless, but would consider a short or capped sleeve. Dislike my tummy, so thinking empire line / A line. I suit blue or black.

I have good legs, so thinking knee length, or shin, not floor length. I'm hoping the weather will be hot

The thing is I do want a nod to the 1920s, but don't want to look like I'm in fancy dress.

My parents went and said it was quite chilly so you will need some sort of wrap/stole/bolero/jacket/shawl

Is this place a theme hotel? People suggesting dressing up 20s/30s style. Are you expected to dress up in period costume?

I haven't stayed there, but we walked across the sand bar and had a drink at The Pilchard, then climbed to the top of the island where we saw that we were going to be cut off if we didn't get a move on because the tide was coming in.

Lots of nice beaded/embroidered things on Frock and Frill - these are the midi ones, but they have some nice shorter ones.

I find the upper arms slightly tight (but I have that problem in lots of dresses, and nothing insurmountable).

Saw this on Ebay listed as "ELIZA J ~ Size 14 Dress Audrey Hepburn Fit Flare 1950s Style".
It's not my listing although I did have one in purple which I enjoyed wearing to various dos.

I know it's not the right era but it's short, forgiving round the tum and can be glammed up! Cute little diamante buttons on cuffs.

@FredrikaPeri An original 20s/30s dress from Etsy was my first thought also. They are gorgeous. Absolutely perfect, at least for me.

I am often gobsmacked by the fabulous swishy, pure silk wedding dresses that are available on Etsy. Quite often at snap up prices.

I loved the hotel when we stayed but would add to the chorus that it can be draughty. I was there in the summertime though so perhaps more doors/windows open?
