There's a Perfume Parlour dupe, which isn't bad though it doesn't last as long.

I didn't like it. Haven't really loved any of the Frederic Malle perfumes I've tried. Some were okay (Synthetic Jungle). none made me want to shell out £250. Which is just as well really.

I ordered a sample of POAL and Molecule 01 off the back of a thread a day or two ago from Scentsamplesuk.

I love the Molecule 01, but really dislike POAL. To me, it smells very heavy and old fashioned, like one of the old Estee Lauder or Nina Ricci perfumes worn by my elderly aunts. I've rarely seen people online post that they dislike it though, so guess I'm in the minority.

Off to order a full size Molecule 01 now. I must stop reading S&B, it's costing me a fortune!

It's a quintessential rich old lady perfume to me (not being ageist - let's not pretend we don't all know what an old lady perfume is). Old fashioned, powdery and floral. Surprisingly uncomplex as well. I didn't get any of the smoke or incense that reviews mentioned. I think the rose just kills everything else tbh.

They do 10ml travel sprays that are pretty affordable. Last ages too cause you don’t need much!

Molecule 01 smells cheap to me. It isn't horrible but isn't what I expected. Reminds me of a perfume Avon do - think it comes in a silver bottle. Next do something similar too, pretty sure it's called sparkle or something like that

Got a sample today. I quite like it but I feel like it's too rich and sophisticated for me.

I love it! They do a 10ml version for about £45 which lasts a surprisingly long time, too.

sorry I’d put it in the same category as Poison. It’s like suffocation by Parma violets…. I’ve just had to wash it off. Molecule 01 was interesting… I’m just waiting for my nasal contamination to dissipate so I can smell it properly.

Is it one of those perfumes that the dupes aren't very good for?

I got a mini in a beauty gift a few years ago - the description didn't sound like my kind of thing at all... but it's my absolute all-time favourite.

It smells like a wealthy older woman's perfume. Okay but wasn't wowed by it.

Not as bad as Carnal Flower though which reeked so bad and only died down when I had a shower. But they gave it a sexy name so people then have a sexy perception of it. Stinky Old Tuberose would be more fitting.

I ordered a small decent a few months ago after all the love on here but I think it's awful (thank goodness as I can't afford it!) As others have said it smells like a proper old lady, heavy, sickly perfume. Hate it!

Oh no! I got pissed last night and ordered a bottle - I haven't even smelt it! 🤭

I love it. I got it as a 10ml size in one of the Liberty goodie bags and it's my favourite perfume ever.

I love the sound of the stinky tuberoses.
