Is this dress stylish or just odd?!

Looking for advice on whether to keep or return this dress (excuse the rubbish photo!) It’s lovely cotton and I think the print is gorgeous BUT it’s totally unlike anything I’d normally wear (jeans/shorts/miniskirts) and I’m not sure if it’s stylish or just makes me look a bit bonkers (my DC laughed when I tried it on and said it made me look “like an old woman from the past” 😳 Is it really that bad? And how would you style it if not? TIA!

I don’t think it looks odd or bonkers at all - it’s very classy 😊
The only issue could be that you might feel it’s “not you” and therefore not wear it very often. But it’s a lovely dress and it looks great on you.

You look very good in it but it will date quickly - definitely not a classic piece.

It's very current style and has been for decades. I've got dresses which look like that and are from the early 1990s.

The dress really suits you! I bought a similar style dress from Me and Em, totally unlike anything I've worn before and it felt so comfortable on. I'm not that tall so the midi is like a maxi length on me
