Just that really!
I don’t get spots often but when I do they are of the huge and sore variety and nothing i ever use seems to help!
Would love to know any tips for products you lot rate!
thanks x

sudacream

ShirleyJackson · 09/06/2022 22:50

Magnesium sulphate with a plaster over it should bring the under-the-skin swellings to a head.

Normal pimples get Sudocremmed.

Phrenologistsfinger · 09/06/2022 23:00

Toothpaste or tea tree oil.

Origins spot remover - burns like hell though!

Yup, best there is.

MintyGreenDream · 09/06/2022 23:07

Spot dots are surprisingly brilliant

I know the rules are don't squeeze.

But.

I get big painful spots on my chin when I ovulate.

I've done some experiments during months I've had more than one.

The ones I pierce/pop and get the gunk out of (which generally is a hard plug that needs shifted then whatever had built up behind it. Have always healed quicker than the ones I follow the rules for.

Be careful with tcp - it can give you a burn! (I was a div and did this by holding a cotton wool pad of it undiluted for too long!)

I usually use Witch Stick S.O.S Blemish

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 10/06/2022 00:14

I know a supermodel who swears by rubbing a cut clove of garlic over a spot before going to bed.

bellsbuss · 10/06/2022 00:16

Dove nappy cream

Marotte · 10/06/2022 00:18

Witch Stick, Boots equivalent witch hazel dual ended pen thing, TCP or toothpaste in an emergency.

VerbenaGirl · 16/06/2022 18:41

Origins Super Spot Remover is great.

beallrightdahlin · 16/06/2022 18:42

I’d look after my liver. When I do, no spots, ever!

ElenaSt · 16/06/2022 18:48

Pierce with sterilised needle, squeeze and tcp applied with a cotton bud. During the day a dot of hand sanitizer helps dry it up and stops it getting infected.

A styptic pencil to stop it weeping.

Fisu · 16/06/2022 18:48

I use clearasil spot treatment & whilst it’s not instant results it defo does the trick, put it on before I go to bed so it can work overnight👍🏻

EverybodysALebowski · 16/06/2022 19:05

CosRX Acne Pimple Patch. Best things ever.

WhoNeedsToSleepAnyway · 16/06/2022 19:39

@ShirleyJackson I did the magnesium sulphate thing on huge blind spot on my chin once. Turns out I'm allergic to the magnesium sulphate and the plaster! I'd have been better off leaving it as in comparison to the mess I made of my face the spot was fairly innocuous 😂

LondonQueen · 16/06/2022 19:44

Sudo crème...

skybluee · 16/06/2022 20:38

Dettol wipes

TheClitterati · 16/06/2022 20:40

Manuka oil.

If things are super drastic an overnight spot of clay mask.

Nosetickle · 16/06/2022 20:57
