Would you come to my Botox clinic?

Feel and look refreshed after your summer holidays abroad.

Would you be happy to receive Botox and filler treatments from a UK medically qualified doctor with PhD in skin regeneration and a background in plastic surgery? Currently not working as small children at home (childcare could be sorted out/hoping for more flexible work out of hospital).

We don't currently live in the UK but in a holiday destination favoured by Brits. If you were to go on holiday, would you be up for treatment, say within your hotel complex if I were to provide services right there?

@CalonPinc 😂 that sounds exactly like a ton of romance novels I read last summer! Sounds quite up my alley actually!

I do have Botox but can't see any benefit to getting it on holiday. I use someone reputable and local, I have it done 3 times a year so as a one off on holiday would be of no use

Absolutely not, Botox looks terrible on people and you can always tell. Plus it perpetuates misogyny - women getting old = bad/ugly/needs fixing
Just my 2p but you did ask for opinions so there's an honest one

Actually I think it's an interesting idea. I also wondered about setting up a wellness retreat with an additional aesthetics practitioner myself somewhere other than the UK. However.... There are a lot of 'what ifs' to manage, also given that it only lasts 3 months, I'm not sure people would be willing to pay for a holiday every time they want a top up.

It's perhaps a bit too personal to consider going to a complete stranger for. Also, I heard about a friend who was offered fillers in her 11s on a well known cruise line, which, can be actually incredibly dangerous. So I'd also be concerned that whoever was doing it was suitably qualified.

Also. Just to disperse the nonsense that 'you can always tell' when people have had Botox.

You can tell if it's badly done. But none of my friends believed me when I told them. And I've had a fair bit, just from a very skilled practitioner. Mine looks totally and utterly natural, as it should.

Yuk no

@DrJump sunscreen although really valuable does not stop you developing wrinkles over time. It just doesn't.
It's v different to Botox.

That’s just the sort of thing I would say if I didn’t want to offend a good friend.

^^. This.

And if Treacletoots is right and it's just the badly done Botox treatments that you can spot, there are an awful lot of people walking around with badly done Botox treatments. Including a lot of celebs who can presumably afford the best treatments.

No

What's the point of getting it done if no one can tell the difference then? (They can by the way.)
