has anyone seen any good low-heel knee-length boots around?

I've looked all over the place for the last 6 weeks and just can't find what I'm looking for.

They have to be low, 1-3" heel and I'd prefer a chunky heel. I've got long thin legs so a reasonably narrow fit and slightly longer length would be superb. And I'm not mad on very pointed toes.

Anything? Anywhere?

i have some dr marten boots that fit that description, they do them in brown, black, a tan colour and a purple type colour. they do up with a zip on the inside of the thigh.

they are really comfy and look equally good under jeans or with a skirt and tights

um i think sole trader sells them, i am trying to think of other stores i have seen them in, oh m&m direct sells them online i think.

I bought some last week from Asda - faux suede, little heel, knee length.

The only thing is, they aren't that narrow as I think they are designed for you to tuck your jeans inside.

But they were in the sale and only £7.50

All the links from the other thread have disappeared by now as all the stock from all the boot shops across the globe have vanished.

Sigh ...

I'll see if I can check out those Dr. Marten boots somewhere.

I'm not crazy about Clarks.

I've looked bloody everywhere now: Schuh, Office, Faith, Topshop, Debenhams, John Lewis, Russel & Bromley, Dolcis, Clarks, Shelley's, ebay. You name it, I've looked.

Those Next ones look ok cod but they have that shaped shin which looks naff and empty on my pin legs.

dr martens can be found on cloggs.com but they are normal leg fit i think. you need italian or duo do slim. hobbs?

imaginaryfriend · 09/01/2008 23:08

Are these these the DM boots you mean 3madboys? How long is the leg length and how wide is the shin?

I tried Hobbs. In fact I bought a pair from Hobbs on my last day at work before Christmas but when I took them home and tried them on they had that weird baggy shin shape again. Not a good look for me.

I have the DMs too, and they ar elovely.
They look good with a skirt, or with jeans.

ComeOVeneer · 10/01/2008 10:29

I just ordered these

SmartArse · 10/01/2008 10:33

I've just bought these in black. They look fab and were reduced but still weren't cheap . They're good and narrow on the calf - most other boots flapped around.
