Hijack. Best place for saucepan sets is where? John Lewis have one set which looks nice but £120.

Ah now we had Jonelle ones when we got married (now 7 yrs old) and they are in a shocking state - hence needing new ones.

I got some work pants in the Monsoon sale (on Christmas Eve strangely) and I've just seen that Boden has those children's fleece lined anoraks in stock (but it says low stock) for dd (have been wanting one for her for ages but don't normally shop at Boden but for £20, it's definitely worth it for next year's autumn/winter!) - thanks for the tip Cod.

saffy202 · 26/12/2007 12:14

Reserved an all-in-one printer from Argos yesterday. Dh has just been to pick it up. Poor thing hates Argos at the best of times but apparently it was heaving with people bringing presents back.

The person in front was taking the Playboy duvet set back as 'they didn't like it'

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:14

I don#t know cod, just spent £150 on a goosedwon one at JL. My spending this morning's up to £700 now, I must stop shortly! And that's before I've gone near Amazon...

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:15

FIS, what are 'work pants'?

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:16

And cod, they#re £252 on the white co, even in the sale, 280 non sale (goose superkingsize 13.5 tog)

foxinsocks · 26/12/2007 12:16

lol I must get used to UK speak. Work trousers .

Where else are there sales online?

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:17

Oh, ok! Are you American FIS? I didn't know that. I thought of you yesterday btw as dd's copy of FIS was on the sofa!

I almost don't want to know where else there's a sale!

foxinsocks · 26/12/2007 12:19

no, I'm not American. Just spent many years living abroad as a child and picked all sorts of local phrases (I noticed I said 'ticky box' which is a phone box on a thread the other day!).

How was your Christmas WWW?

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:19

CathKidston site won't let me look at anything, perhaps luckily

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:21

It was lovely but hard work, only the 4 of us but dh and I collapsed on the sofa with a bottle of Champagne at 10pm and said we're going to a hotel next year. What wusses we are! And we prob won't but we may well have M&S Cook range or something!

dirtygertiefromnumber30 · 26/12/2007 12:21

god, the thought of spending more money or buying more 'stuff' seems obscene. Arent you all bored of shopping yet?

WideWebWitch · 26/12/2007 12:21

And we didn#t get each other anythign and agreed it was a mistake, first yr we've done it/

How was your sister FIS? GRATEFUL I hope?

foxinsocks · 26/12/2007 12:25

Yes, she was. Very! (though she is rowing constantly with boyfriend arrghhh and I keep asking when they are going to book their flights to leave!)

I went to M&S and got all the food from there and it was MARVELLOUS. All I had to do was bung everything in the oven at the right time and make sure it was all ready together (and that was stressful enough) but for 11 people, I would have buggered it up any other way.

Dh and I have decided we will do stockings for each other next year. I really like the idea of that.

My present to him was fab (history of Chelsea in a bound book through back page stories from the red tops - got it online) so I'm still feeling quite smug .
