I thought they were cute. DH doesn't like them and asked if they were fashionable??
So should I keep them?
Comments please. They are here but I did get them for £30.

Kind of like school shoes IMO. My dd1 wears something quite similar

MamaG · 14/12/2007 14:50

I don't like the heel.

I do like mary jane styles, usually, but they have a weird heel

jesuswhatnext · 14/12/2007 14:50

yuk yuk yuk (sorry)

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:01

Lol. That is quite conclusive so far then .
DH said they were like school shoes .
Bollocks.

ive got a pair of those in red

school shoes! Cheeky buggers!

lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:09

They are extremely comfortable as well, thank you very much.

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:09

OMG really that bad??
I got them to wear with opaque tights but also under trousers etc.
I was excited that they had them in a half size.

Those are exactly the shoes I have been looking for!
I can't do high heels so these would be perfect.
I love them, where did you get em for £30 from?

lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:11

I got mine from clarks a couple of months ago. I had to go down half a size though.

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:11

Phew. One lone positive voice. They are very comfortable and the height of the heel meant I could wear them all day I thought.....
I am trying to stop wearing trainers/flat boots and jeans all the time.

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:12

Ohh two positives .
They are on sale in Clarks at the mo. They did have quite a few sizes lol.

They'd be gorge in another colour, but a bit schooly or worky in black. Cute though. I laughed at your dh asking if they were fashionable - would it have made a difference?

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:15

No not really . I think he was trying to work out what on earth had possessed me to buy them

They are old lady shoes, you do know that don't you?

DINOsaurmummykissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2007 15:19

I like them, but I am a bit odd...

lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:19

I bought mine to wear to an interview, but I wear them with my jeans as well and i don't fall over in them. I once bought a pair from pricelessssss and as soon as i put them on i went skating across the kitchen on the heel. You can't beat good old clarks.

That does make me sound like an old lady doesnt it? I'll be buying elasticated waistbands next!

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:22

Oh no I am only 31!!!

OP posts:
lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:23

My god, you are old!

Lizzylou · 14/12/2007 15:24

I don't think they are old lady shoes (I am 34) they aren't spectacularly beautiful shoes, but they are nice.

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:24

I think after nearly 5 years as a SAHM I am missing the chance to look a bit smarter . DH did say they would be good for work....but I don't work....
