I thought they were cute. DH doesn't like them and asked if they were fashionable??
So should I keep them?
Comments please. They are here but I did get them for £30.

zippitippitoes · 14/12/2007 15:27

drove even

lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:28

I once bought a pair of ecco sandals and they were the most comfortable sandals ever. Then a bloke said they looked like old lady shoes and burst my bubble.
Dh saw an old photo of me on facebook and asked me if id borrowed my grans clothes.

lazawreath · 14/12/2007 15:29

Uggs are the most comfy shoesies ever. I really want a pair. I'd also like a pair of snowjoggers.

dont buy fake uggs tho as they are at a funny angle arent they

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 15:33

Lol at your Gran's shoes.
Now I wouldn't go so far as to wear Uggs . I do have a pair of Rocket Dog boots that are a bit similar though.
Those who are haters, can you wear heels??
My feet are big (6.5 so normally a 7) so I can't wear pointy shoes as they look even BIGGER. Heels are an effort so I ended up with these. Right I am going to try them on with lots of different things.
Then I will tell DH that he can take them back if he wants to brave the Christmas shops as I am not going into town again until February!

Oh I like them. In brown, too. Since when do Amazon sell shoes - not even looked on Amazon for months, it seems.

VanillaPumpkin · 14/12/2007 23:08

Oh good. Another positive. I would love high Mary Janes but won't be able to wear them for long so I think I will be keeping these. They are a bit sensible but still look cute on I think.

I saw these in clarks sale yesterday in brown. They're nicer in brown I think, they were very comfy, but I was unsure what to wear them with.

I did buy a pair similar a few weeks ago and started a thread about them ,everybody loved them ,but I ended up taking them back as they didn't go with anything in my wardrobe.

Will try and find thread.

cheeset · 15/12/2007 10:38

Think they are nice shoes, can imagine them with really funky thick tights and a denim knee length skirt. kinda jigsaw/kew look.

VanillaPumpkin · 15/12/2007 12:54

Thank you ladies. I have a pair of teal crochet type tights and purple and pinky red plain ones and brown patterned ones that no-one sees as I always wear my boots. Plus the fact is my lower leg is the skinniest part of me so I was looking for a shoe to show it off a bit......
Please link your thead. I am open to alternatives, was just excited to find something in the half size.

vanilla, have you seen the shoes and boots in duo? They do made to measure boots. I've got a pair and they are really lovely and they fit around my scrawny calfs!

VanillaPumpkin · 15/12/2007 13:08

I have one pair of Duo boots but have since ordered another four yes FOUR pairs from them that haven't fitted and it has cost me a FORTUNE in postage and returns alone . I have given up on them now until I travel to Bath or London to be fitted .
My feet are too narrow for their shoes I think????? Gah I am a freak.

VanillaPumpkin · 15/12/2007 13:48

Lol, I am on that thread at 16.34 saying how much I like them! There is the proof that I have wanted a pair like this for a while then. I'm keeping them .

I like them! Kind of 1920s (or is it 30s?) Would like them in a different colour. Red would be fab.

lazawreath · 15/12/2007 14:09

ggirl, they are lush shoes!

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 15/12/2007 14:12

they'd look better in red or if they were patent.
