CodRestYeMerryGentelmen · 11/12/2007 14:07

BK the KEY is to finding a colour that suits you

CodRestYeMerryGentelmen · 11/12/2007 14:22

lol

thats you that is

Blu · 11/12/2007 15:06

That's what the SIL will be wearing!
Remember BK, one man's 'attractive' is a sensible woman's 'tarty'.

How about having a look at Anusha? Their clothes are for proper grown up women with hips and breasts and other things that most designers don't seem to believe in. I just bought a wrapover top in red silk from their sale and it's really gorgeous.

I have been coveting this for ages www.anusha.co.uk/product.cfm?id=1760&p=1but decided against as I am a short arse. I think that something like that top with velvet trousers would make the most of your curves and height.

uniqlo bargain cashmere and some wideleg trousers plus fabbo accessories should do ya

PatsyCline · 11/12/2007 16:06

Sorry I just noticces that that top only goes up to a 14, but they do larger sizes in other items.

bossykate · 11/12/2007 17:53

thank you very much for all these suggestions. there is a lot to choose from here.

ggirlsbells, my work internet blocked that link whatever it is!

blu, she is not remotely tarty, just very elegantly and expensively dressed and very well groomed. thanks for the compliment [weak teary smile]

cod, i loved that ruffled tunic but largest size is 14.

patsycline, that is a really nice site. the clothes i fancied were the ones in the smaller sizes [sod's law emoticon]. the jewellery is gorgeous!

thanks also to olive, imbarryscott and bundle for great suggestions.

i feel rather cheered now, thank you all very much

so tunic idea is a goer?

CodRestYeMerryGentelmen · 11/12/2007 17:54
bossykate · 11/12/2007 17:55

that one you linked cod was good because it seemed to have some structure/tailoring - i.e. not so likely to make me look 4/5m pg! plus the ruffles looked rather chic i thought!
