I have 2 preschoolers and have no time to spend on myself. Any suggestions to help with the grey frizzy mess in the photo? Thanks in advance

I haven't read the full thread - apologies. Is there an Aveda hair salon near you? My local one works miracles with dry, frizzy hair and are very good at colour treatments.

@Frizzyhairhelp

Thanks everyone. So if I wash my hair in the morning would you suggest blowdrying it?
No, I would definitely avoid blow drying and use a diffuser instead.
HotMess21 · 17/10/2021 14:25

Although air drying is always better, if you have the time.

Op book yourself in to the hairdresser and before you leave the salon make another appt for 8 to 10 weeks time.Keep doing this.Your hair is beautiful it just needs a bit of care and maintenance

You've got lovely hair. I personally dye my hair because I've tried grey but I feel so much better having colour to frame my face. Maybe when I'm older I'll happily go grey maybe when my dark eyebrows go grey too but I feel like my coloured hair gives me a healthier glow and lights my look up a bit when it has been done properly.

Of course it's about how you feel about grey vs non grey and some people are more happy to leave it and therefore less maintenance.

^^anything sulphate or silicone free. Will always be written on bottle as a selling point.

Women should not have to spend time and money dying their hair.

Women can do whatever the hell they choose with their own hair. HTH. Hmm
@AliceinBorderland I agree if you don’t regularly clarify but some peoples hair type just needs silicone, I know mine does! I’ve tried all the silicone and sls free shampoos and products and they really do give me limp flat hair.
I agree, I definitely need silicone!

I use CH products
My favourites
Co wash - as I am
Conditioner - creightons micellar. Cheap and really good slip, XHC conditioner for protein
Styling - treluxe serum and gel

Also like Giovanni smooth as silk, tea tree and their direct leave in
TK maxx is often good for a hunt around (yope is often in there and the conditioner is lovely)
