I've just received my scenthusiasm samples from 4160 Tuesdays. Some gorgeous fragrances in here, especially Amber Violet and You Made Me. SOTD Le Jardin Retrouve Rose Trocadero. It's roses, blackcurrant and musk and the cold weather seems to make it smell even nicer.

SOTD: Fahrenheit, Dior - for a trip to the hairdressers. Couldn't smell this at all today, so might put it away for a bit. Was a lovely day out there, wonderfully sunny without being at all hot.

Although my hairdresser is a very kind lady, I never leave the salon happy with my hair; it's way too short and definitely wonky this time. Not the look I was going for.

In other news... It's 100 days 'til Christmas! 🎄😍

@FragrantlyScent would you not say something to your stylist? My best beloved hairdresser left to go into a completely different industry after lockdown last summer, and recommended a different salon instead of someone in the one I'd been going to for over ten years. My first cut with him was okay, but it wasn't really exactly what I wanted, and the next time I was properly bossy about it. He owns the salon and was mortified to think I was walking about unhappy with my hair. I go every five weeks, so I am a good "banker of a customer", and now he gets it absolutely perfect every time. It sounds a bit naff, but I see the two of us as "a team" now, which is how I always felt with my previous hairdresser.

Well, I'm 5 vials of blood lighter 😃
I must admit I vote with my feet if I have a haircut I don't like. I finally found a good hairdresser and now I worry he'll move or quit!

Thanks for the hairdresser advice everyone. Looks like I'll have to have a firm chat with my stylist next time, or maybe even look for a new salon. An uneven and wonky trim is unacceptable. I would have said something there and then, but I take my glasses off while they do my hair and I didn't put back them on until I paid at the till, where, of course, there are no mirrors. I didn't get a chance to look at my hair properly until I arrived home. I might actually go back and complain while the 'unevenness' is still visible.

Will choose a SOTD for today in a bit.

Can't wait to try the pp body products, @Artdecolover. I think they'll be popular. I also love the idea of pp home fragrance; I often smell a perfume and think "well, it's not something I'd wear, but I wouldn't mind that as a candle or reed diffuser". Of course, now it's a possibility, I've forgotten which scents I thought would smell better around the house.

I got a mmm replica btf candle from John Lewis last year and I didn't think it smelt much like the perfume tbh and it was £48!

The workmen will be here at 8, I have a meeting at 10am then taking ds1 into university for an actual f2f meeting with his tutor!

He was at a freshers rave last night so I'm assuming will not be overly happy to be woken shortly 😃

Oh! He passed his driving test last week! Did I tell you?

@Artdecolover, congratulations to your DS! The thought of a driving test scares me, tbh.
I definitely wanted to stay in bed this morning; it was so dark when I woke up. Unfortunately I had a hospital appointment, it was only meant to last 30mins - I was there for over four hours! Sending positive vibes for your hospital appointments this week, and for stress-y house renovations. I have a packed schedule next week, and am already dreading it; sometimes everything just seems to come at once.
I actually saw that candle in John Lewis last Christmas and was going to buy it as a present for my dm - she loves candles - but went for their version of the White Company winter candle in the end, I think.

Am worried I'm developing a pp obsession... Currently planning my next order, and already have things I want to try after that.

I would LOVE to smell it on a man
It's white clean hotel soap, fresh towels and bedding, lavender steam at the barber shop, a little sharp but then creamy and soft. This isn't one I think floral lovers would like but if you smelled it on someone you would just think "oh they had a hot soapy shower, wonder what soap smells like that?"
It's like a luxury hotel, if you compare the clean scents to the laundrette
And I keep sniffing myself!
