1920s themed party - could I wear this?

I would like to buy something that I can wear again and just accessorise for the party....would this work or would I look out of place if everyone was in sequinned flapper dressers?

Any other ideas for a simple dress I could use again?

Thanks ArseIn.
I imagine hourglasses spent the 20's hiding in cupboards given that trousers were still considered very risqué for the average working class lass. Revenge would be theirs in the 50's but that was probably not much consolation to curvey girls born in 1900.

The first dress is stunning but very 1930s not 1920s. the second one looks more 1970s bond girl to me!
For 1920s I'd go for a sequinned flapper dress.

The first green dress would be perfect with that headpiece.

Please come back to tell us what you bought 🙏

Thanks @Womendohavevaginasnick for posting that dress - it would work for the party but it’s not something I would ever wear again and it’s to many ££££ for me to pay for a one off fancy dress party.

I think I will stick with the Ghost dress, the peacock feather headdress and some long back necklace beads to drag it back to the 20’s from the 30’s

You'll wear that Ghost dress again. It is stunning.

These are the kind of styles you are after (the site is pricey, though!) - maybe hunt on eBay to see if you can find anything similar for sale?

If you don’t mind paying a bit, this one would be good:

This one from Roman is only £35 (there’s a few on their site that could easily be dressed up):

Think House of Elliot (if you're old enough!), what about long coats and wide legged trousers?
