Advice needed! NuFace or Foreo?

Let me start off by saying you lot are all a horrible influence on me! I'd seen the micro current devices before and thought they looked like sex toys, and has assumed they were just a gimmicky waste of money. Then came across another post on here about the Foreo Bear and how great the results were. Did a quick google which led me onto the NuFace Trinity. Watched a few YouTube videos that demo'd it and sang its praises. I'm pretty much sold now on getting one of these devices, but they're not cheap and I don't have a load of spare cash to spend, but had put some money away for Botox / fillers that I can use on this instead.

So, what I'd like some advice on is - which is better? The NuFace Trinity or the Foreo Bear?

I had kind of settled on the NuFace Trinity with the additional double prong attachment, but want to make sure I'm making the right decision given the amount this thing costs. Is one of these a better option for me, or is there an even better one I don't know about? Perhaps the Foreo Bear and the separate Foreo Eye device?

I'm 40, hooded eyes, beginnings of jowls, deep forehead and '11' lines and very fine lines under the eyes. Skin is changing texture a bit now.

Any advice, reviews, first hand experience or tips very welcome. TIA

Oh lord. Now have just seen this bundle - the NuFace Mini and the TriPollar Stop. I'm even more confused 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bump. Anyone?

I did toy with getting one of these, but it put me off that they say that you have to keep it up every day and if you stop using it at all then things will start going back again immediately, I just can't be doing with it! Plus using the conductive gel looks like a faff to incorporate into the rest of my skincare routine etc.

doorornottodoor · 12/05/2021 19:16

FOREO Bear definitely. It’s lifted my slightly hooded eyes. Definite difference.

doorornottodoor · 12/05/2021 19:18

It’s quicker. I do three rounds of the 2.5 minute programme a day. The app is a bit annoying but I think there is a way to circumvent it.

Thank you. That's good to know! You're happy with the results though?

Well it’s not a miracle but my eyes look better so that’s good. Not sure much change in the lower face. It’s relaxing though and quick!

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 12/05/2021 21:10

What does it do???

Eyjafjallajokulldottir · 12/05/2021 21:14

I've used the foreo since February. I think my jowls are a bit better. Not sure. You don't need to use conductive gel, I just use mine in the shower on a wet face for 2 minutes. Really easy. Just not sure I'm seeing any results yet 🤔

doorornottodoor · 12/05/2021 21:49

Yikes I wouldn’t dare use it in the shower at that price!!

doorornottodoor · 12/05/2021 21:50

I use aloe vera gel. Wet your face to reactivitate the gel using avene spray.

It's waterproof! But yes it is ridiculously expensive.

I have the nu face mini
I like it.
I use it every night while I'm watching tv .
Not going to lie though, I've completely ignored all instructions and do 10 mins each side of my face 😀

NotquitewhatImeant · 13/05/2021 13:15

I’ve got a nuface mini and I’m on the fence about it. Not sure it has done much for me but my mum raves about it. I do have a Tripollar too Blush and I love that. Just seems to make my skin look plumper and better. I should say that I never go to a salon for facials or anything so these things might not be any better than a facial but I like being DIY

bettybigballs · 13/05/2021 17:27

I got a nuface dupe from ali epxress to give it a go thinking if i loved it I'd invest in the nuface, do love it but can see such a difference around the jaw line I'm happy with my cheap version!

kittycrackles · 13/05/2021 18:11

had the bear for a couple of months and the change has been astonishing.

Oooh what kind of change?
Feather12 · 13/05/2021 18:25

I love the Bear. I ummed and ahhed about it after seeing it on here. I have had it since January and after some weight loss my jawline was looking pretty jowly, but that has completely gone now. It is amazing. I use it with aloe Vera gel.

bettybigballs · 13/05/2021 18:36

It’s my jawline I see the biggest difference in too, a lot more definition and lift

kittycrackles · 13/05/2021 19:14

@Letsgetreadytocrumble everywhere really. I hardly recognise myself( in a good way)!
Hooded eyes much lifted. My neck has become much firmer and the little bit of sagging is gone. My NL folds were becoming really quite droopy and deep but they are pulled back. Definition to my cheek bones and jaw line. I am 53.
I use it for about 15 mins a day when I’m browsing on The computer so I’m not taking extra time out of my day to do it.

I’ve got one and haven’t seen such a difference. Can I ask your routine please?
WineGetsMeThroughIt · 13/05/2021 19:36

Thanks so much ladies. After watching more YouTube videos and reading your feedback I think I've been swayed. Going to order the bear instead to start out with and then possibly the mini. The reason I wants the NuFace was because the double pronged attachment worked great for hooded eyes and even plumping lips in the videos I saw. I saw people using the bear mini for above the eyes and around the lips, so may splurge on that one in a month or so. But the bear had more power and a different kind of ultrasonic wave compared to the NuFace. And the NuFace has a lot of people saying that they're broke quite easily. I don't want to risk that.

Interestingly I have noticed fuller lips from my regular sized bear. I have the beginnings of a downturned mouth so working on the corners has lifted and filled my lips quite substantially. Where on you neck do you use it kittycrackles? I know you can’t use it on the throat area, which is where I have a bit of looseness after my weight loss, does working either side lift it more?

I use the big bear round my eyes and mouth. It has completely got rid of my lip lines.

I use it both horizontally and vertically on my neck and under my chin. The only area I don’t go on is my actual windpipe.
