So what do we think of all of the puffed sleeves?

Hmmm. Puffed sleeves featurure on many (really many) of the summer dresses I'm browsing. Or puffed sleeves AND frills.

I can imagine carrying this off easily if I was younger, slimmer, taller and finer boned but I'm 49, size 12-14 depending on the brand, 5ft 2 and my arms aren't what they were. These dresses look pretty in the pictures but I'd just look really bulky around the shoulders.

I love a big sleeve actually, like a silk bishop sleeve or something, soft and drapey, a bit Studio 54. The stiff ones make me look like an aged washerwoman or a Mennonite elder.

I hate them. I hate them so much. Are the designers having a laugh??
